Glad England won, as I think it’s great for the nation…and our pubs who need this!
BUT….what I cannot stand is the footy pundits throwing around terms like ‘hero’ and ‘bravery’.
They get paid thousands, if not millions to run around without body armour on, in air con stadiums at times, whilst not getting shot at…or carrying their mates on a stretcher while he bleeds out…😔
Just sayin…makes my blood boil.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this.
For years, Sunday nights meant Top Gear. We’d sit down at 8pm and watch Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May do what they did best.
Now, through Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy has introduced a whole new generation to the realities of British farming and earned the respect of millions all over again.
He’s made us laugh, he’s frustrated us, and he’s entertained us for decades.

50 years ago today, 26th April 1976, the King of the Carry On films Sid James sadly passed away. He was touring The Mating Season on stage at the Sunderland Empire Theatre, aged 62.
For many, Sid was and indeed remains the definitive face - and laugh - of the Carry Ons. ❤️💙🧡
