I'm welling up after watching the feedback from our recent accessibility testing. The genuine delight and excitement about _filling out a form_ reminds me that the hard work we do to make our product usable by all is not just a compliance tick but actually worth it.
After dipping my toe back into work after 6 weeks of parental leave I'm acutely aware of where my stress levels were when I left. Take this as a gentle reminder to step away for a short while if you can. Your mental health can be seriously degraded without even knowing it. โ๏ธ
Being on parental leave is awesome, but so is sitting for one afternoon and just writing code. Nice to engage my technical brain for the first time in weeks.
Helping my wife troubleshooting conditional logic on a competitors website is giving me mixed emotions.
Driving to the airport on Friday morning through rush hour traffic in Porto made me so happy that I work remotely. I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with the anger and stress of everyone around me all trying to be somewhere at the same time.

I keep trying story points and they just don't stick - The best I've ever used was advice from @RyanDeegan to make all the stories the same size and just count how much you've delivered by the end of a sprint. Simple, effective way to measure delivery.
