Today’s indie iOS app is from a friend who recently launched PufferPages.
Most journaling apps store memories.
PufferPages turns them into comics.
You tell it a few moments from your day, pick a style, and it generates a personalized comic page with you as the main character.
The part I found most interesting isn’t the AI.
It’s the attention to detail.
He spent a lot of time refining prompts, character consistency, art styles, page composition, and the weekly issue format so the final result feels like something you’d actually want to keep.
At the end of the week, your daily pages are bundled into a personalized comic issue of your life.
Building is hard.
Shipping is harder.
Watching friends obsess over tiny details that nobody sees is usually where the best products come from.
Congrats on the launch, Bas. 👏 @bas_fijneman

I built PufferPages because I kept forgetting what I did every day.
Now I speak a few moments into it and it turns each day into a comic book page. Every week, a new issue. By the end of the year, an actual book.

Spent a few hours crafting one prompt👇:
A waitlist landing page that feels like stepping into another world.
Codex turned it into a cinematic landing page where the scene shifts with your season and time of day. 🌍
This is how Codex worked:
🎨 GPT Image 2.0 painted the same place in 16 cinematic variations: 4 seasons x 4 times of day, golden ratio composition locked across every frame
🕰️ Page reads the visitor's timezone and local time. Winter night in NL, summer morning in NZ, same page
✏️ Two slots in the prompt: [SUBJECT] for the scene, [STYLE] for the art direction. Change either and the whole world changes with you

OMGGG WE'RE LIVE on Product Hunt with Operations!
It's the new tab page Tijs and I actually use every day. Projects, notes, bookmarks, a vault, all in one place.

I’ve played MapleStory for almost 20 years.
So I gave Codex a spin and asked:
Can we recreate a tiny bit of that nostalgic 2D MMO magic in the browser?
A few prompts later, I had a playable MapleStory-inspired prototype:
Prompt below 👇
🍃 cozy starter town
🧙 NPC dialogue
🌀 portals between maps
⚔️ slimes, mushrooms, spirits
💰 mesos + EXP drops
📜 collection quest
🗡️ equippable weapon
🎮 Q/E/R skills + dash
🗺️ HUD, minimap, chat, quest tracker
Built with HTML, CSS, JS, Codex, GPT-5.5, and GPT Image 2.
It’s obviously not MapleStory.
But the fact that one person can now go from childhood nostalgia to a playable browser RPG slice this fast is kind of insane.
AI game prototyping in 2026 is getting ridiculous.

Took it one step further.
Peekaboo🌱 now has a polished marketing website and a full set of App Store screens. Same stack:
GPT Image 2.0 + Codex doing the heavy lifting again.

I gave Codex one idea:
A screen-time app for kids that doesn’t feel like a punishment.
Then it helped turn that idea into Peekaboo, a gentle mobile app built around a tiny purple character with a sprout on its head. 🌱
The workflow was wild:
🎨 GPT Image 2.0 shaped the cozy visual world, mascot poses, sticker rewards, and app-store-style mockups
🧠 GPT-5.5 helped design the product logic: timers, breaks, rewards, parent moments, and kid-friendly microcopy
📱 Codex pulled it together into an interactive mobile app prototype with real screens, transitions, animations, and state

Saw @DennisonBertram's Lego tweet yesterday and had to mess around with it. (GPT)
Game of Thrones came out wild. Also did a version of myself shipping at 1am with two Red Bulls😅! And did one of my family.

What a crazy response to my ChatGPT images 2.0 post yesterday, some of you where questioning how consistent it is.
Tried to see if I could generate a full app brand identity; mockups, onboarding, mascot, marketing.
All 4 prompts are below, SHOW ME YOUR SHITTTT👇

I've been messing around with the new ChatGPT image model 2.0 and it created some insane designs for mobile apps with mascottes in like what 2 minutes.
Will share the complete prompt here so you can mess around with it yourself, and if you do show me what you did with it 👇
