This mindset of entitlement and greed, built on a foundation of envy and hate, is incompatible with Western values.

You won't stop the carnage we see in France by passing a few immigration reforms -- as British politicians are now suggesting.
Tighten immigration, sure. But the problem we face is much bigger than this.
What we are witnessing is a highly-coordinated, deeply ideological and concerted war on not just France but the West more broadly.
At the heart of it is a 'Red-Green' alliance of left-wing extremists, Islamists, and the Palestinian movement that has now morphed into a revolutionary movement.
It wants nothing less than the destruction, dismantling, or 'deconstruction' of Western civilisation.
And it is benefitting from a wider circle of 'tacit support' within our own Western institutions -- our schools, universities, media, publishing, and more.
These activists are now exploiting a West that has become dangerously divided, deluded, & demoralised.
While the West has certainly eroded itself and emboldened its enemies through mass immigration and broken borders, it has also taken a sledgehammer to its own foundations by teaching its own young people to hate who they are -- to hate their own history, culture, identity, and inheritance.
Scruton called this Oikophobia. Furedi called it the war against our past. In France, Philippe de Villiers calls it 'Memoricide'. The stripping away of any sense of who we are. It is cultural vandalism against ourselves.
China, Russia, Islamic states, they are all laughing at us.
We have cut our own young people off from the West's distinctive and proud history by either telling them our nations are racist and embarrassing or bombarding them with historically illiterate documentaries and Netflix shows that present the West as evil.
Unsurprisingly, they now feel little attachment or loyalty to their own nations while many young people today, put simply, don't even know who they are.
With no strong sense of national identity, and no real understanding of where they are from or what their ancestors built, they have become completely disoriented, bobbing around on a sea of globalism and phone-induced narcissism.
The young French destroy their country because they feel no loyalty to their country.
Somebody said to me recently the West resembles a bouquet of flowers on the mantlepiece -- it is still beautiful but if you look closely it's roots have been cut off and it is now slowly dying in the vase.
In the first instance, France is suffering the effects of all this, looking on at a generation that clearly hate its own nation or at least feel no attachment to it.
But this deeper malaise is now visible in pretty much every Western state today, having been encouraged by a political class that decided it was a good idea to redefine Western nations as empty vessels that are merely here to show empathy towards everybody else.
Immigration reforms might help but what we are facing now is actually much bigger than any of that.
As Scruton, Furedi, Caldwall, Phillips, Murray, Lasch and others have been warning us for many many years, there is a war against the West and before it even really begins we are already helping our enemies by cutting off our own legs.
Today it is France, tomorrow it will be everywhere.

Immigration would make exactly no difference to this. Whether Nippon is depopulated or heavily populated but entirely by Filipinos and Hindus, the Nihonjin would be equally extinct.
'Because Japan doesn't want immigrants they're going to become extinct.'

It recently came to light that Jeffrey George Ewert, a man convicted of the rape and murder of one woman and a choking attack on a 15-year-old girl for refusing his advances which rendered her quadriplegic, was enrolled in law school classes at McGill University.
In response to his being removed from the classroom pending a safety review, some McGill law students and alumni created a petition to bring him back into the classroom.
The Law Students' Association has backed the petition.
Clinical assessments determined that Jeffrey George Ewert's risk of reoffending is moderate to high.
He picked up his first victim while she was hitchhiking home from a bar. He strangled her unconscious, raped her, and then threw her body in a river.
Less than 6 weeks later he severely beat and strangled a 15-year-old girl for refusing his advances. He threw her body in a ditch and the girl was found alive the next day.
The girl has suffered blindness, severe brain damage, and quadriplegia from the vicious attack.
Ewert broke his parole conditions multiple times by viewing women’s profiles on social media, getting their phone numbers, starting discussions with them, and exploring a dating site without notifying his case management team.
He was reprimanded by the parole board in 2025 but the kooks who created and signed the petition still want him to be part of this human experiment with young female students.
Canadian judges are facilitating violent and dangerous males through two-tier judgments based on Gladue. Law students are being indoctrinated into advocating for this amoral and dangerous idiocy.

🇫🇷🔥 Limoges city hall set on fire by rioters at the end of the Oct. 17 protest; the bell tower collapsed and the prefect says the building is "largely lost"
Rioters attacked Limoges' hôtel de ville late Saturday afternoon after the Oct. 17 cost-of-living march, breaking windows and setting fire to the ground floor; cars were also burned outside. Firefighters arrived shortly after 6 p.m., and the flames reached the roof around 7 p.m. and were still burning at 8:10 p.m. The 43-meter bell tower collapsed. Prefect Maurice Barate said the roof fell onto the lower floors except in the west wing and two-thirds of the facade had disappeared, calling the building "largely lost," a "heritage catastrophe" and a "deliberate act" by rioters. The 19th-century building, opened in 1883 and inspired by Paris's city hall, is a listed monument. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez confirmed the fire; Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said "we will not be intimidated." Earlier in Limoges, fireworks mortars were fired at police near the A20 interchange, a police vehicle was burned and shops were looted. Reported by AFP, franceinfo, Europe 1 and Flash FM.
NOT CONFIRMED: Which artworks and decorations inside have been destroyed. Claims that works by Henri-Paul Motte, Jean-Joseph Weerts and Urbain Bourgeois are definitively lost have not been confirmed by officials, and no inventory has been published. I also found no figure on injuries or arrests in Limoges.
Saturday's national mobilization against the cost of living drew a very large turnout, with CNews reporting more than 550,000 demonstrators, while violence was concentrated in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Limoges, including a brief break-in at Marseille's city hall.
The loss of a historic city hall turns a day of mostly peaceful marches into a symbolic national event and will dominate the political response. What to watch: the official damage and heritage assessment once the fire is out, arrests and charges for arson, the government's response including any new security measures, and whether the unions and student groups distance themselves from the violence.

The funny thing about leaders like Bukele is in many ways they are tyrant-tyrants. Or in other words he is tyrant to those who ran El Salvador like tyrants.
The previous El Salvador Regime letting crime get so pervasive, so devastating was a profound act of tyranny. Bukele's actions are very much reflective of brutally suppressing those tyrants.
For any fault you may find with Bukele or his methods, it must be understood that the previous administration were astronomically more tyrannical than he is. To tyrannize the average person is much worse than the tyrannize tyrannical judges and criminals.
And I want to be clear here, the state has a fundamental duty to provide security to its population. To protect them from crime, from foreign conflict. The previous El Salvadorian administration's utterly and completely failed at that, with judges and civil rights groups actively stymying efforts to fight the crime. That is tyranny. To care more about process than outcomes at the expense of horrifying crime rates is tyranny.

This is a perfect use case for the notwithstanding clause.
They BRUTALLY MURDERED Canadians.
They deserve no parole.
EVER.
They should rot and die in a jail cell.
This should be the accepted norm & not be controversial.
Why are Canadians so kind to killers?
The judge argued that it is “cruel and unusual” punishment to block multiple murderers from applying for early parole.
Canada’s judiciary is a joke.
A BC Supreme Court judge says a section of the Criminal Code restricting multiple murderers from applying for early parole is unconstitutional, resulting in delayed sentencing for 3 men in the killing of an Abbotsford couple. #bcpoli #cdnpoli fraservalleytoday.ca/2026/10…

In 10 years, the Liberals added close to 2 million people from India.
Across Permanent Residents, students, and temporary foreign workers, India is #1 in every stream.
At the same time, 40% of our highest earners quietly moved to the United States.
The Bank of Canada says those who left, account for 75% of the entire Canada-US income gap.
Net emigration just hit a 50 year high.
We're adding people at record speed at the bottom and losing the ones who power the economy off the top
Conspiracy theorists were right yet again: It's a managed decline.
