It was fantastic to see our Y12/13 historians visit the Houses of Parliament. They were shown around by the local MP Antonia Bance and visited Parliament itself. They also got to watch a debate on military spending and watched democracy in practice.
Today we had our Year 7 Welcome Mass! It was a joy to gather alongside families to pray for God’s blessings on our students’ journey ahead and included their generous contributions to our Harvest Food Bank, helping us support those in need!✝️#FaithInAction
For the month of the Holy Rosary, our lunchtime club was made special with a rosary from the Beatification of St John Henry Newman, whose feast day we celebrate today. Newman is also part of our own school story, having baptised our Patron, Father Stuart Bathurst!
In our SAINT daily form tutor programme we have been reflecting on this half-terms CST focus:Dignity of the Human person. We have been inspired by the patronage of Sister Thea Bowman, who used her voice and gifts to celebrate Black culture in faith and share the joy of the Gospel

To mark National Poetry Day and to explore this year’s theme of ‘wonder’, staff and students at Stuart Bathurst have compiled a poem. This poem shares all of the unique wonders that have crossed their minds about their teachers, both past and present.
I wonder if she remembers me.
I wonder what her favourite topic is,
I wonder what his favourite car is,
I wonder how they were in school,
I wonder if he plays sports.
I wonder what they get up to after school,
I wonder what music they like,
I wonder if she’s always so nice.
I Wonder…
I wonder how tall she is,
I wonder if he sings in his car,
I wonder if she’s playing football or basketball,
I wonder what shoe size they are.
I wonder if she has any hidden talents,
I wonder if she has any pets,
I wonder if she got married,
As we prepare to close the Season of Creation, we reflect on this year’s theme, ‘Living Water’. Our students have created a beautiful Chapel display, celebrating the gift of water and our call to care for God’s creation. 🙏💙 #SeasonOfCreation #LivingWater #CareForCreation
This morning, a group of Year 7 students had the privilege of attending Mass at St Mary’s on the Hill, Wednesbury, to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. It was a lovely chance to come together in prayer alongside Parishioners.
Holy Guardian Angels, Pray for Us!
This week, we joined with other schools from the Diocese at the Chaplaincy Commissioning Mass at St Chad's Cathedral! Two of our Student Chaplaincy Team had the honour of reading the Bidding Prayers.
A joy to be part of and blessed in our Service!

Fantastic work from our pupil leadership team today- organising our Macmillan coffee morning.
Great Catholic Social Teaching in action showing our collective support for this worthy charity.
Great atmosphere around school tonight for our Open Evening. Our pupils were amazing ambassadors for our school.
