I'm used to this with climate stuff. But my mental health is better when I look at the odds and try anyway. At least then I can sleep at night.
Just like support for action on climate change, there's a big gap between perception and reality. Robust debate is amazing, but arseholes with megaphones make it difficult for either side to be heard.
