On 19 July 2024, I published two posts on my X account in which I made allegations about Mr Mothin Ali being involved in the Harehills riots. I have accepted these were incorrect and I have jointly made a statement in open Court in order to apologise to Mr Ali and correct the record which is below.

Alex seems to have made a mistake and posted his court mandated apology in the middle of the night, so I thought I'd help him out with a repost this morning.
I'm sure he wants the most people to see it as possible.

Great to see liars being prosecuted for lying. Spreading misinformation actually seems to be the career of @Artemisfornow, tho. Maybe she could have used that in her defence?

Incredibly big and clear drop in online support for Reform, after Russian data centres destroyed. Only one conclusion, Reform have support from Russia whether they know it or not.

OK, there is something very, very weird going on in the press right now.
It certainly appears, from the outside, as if certain people are being very much protected in a way that was not afforded to certain other people!
Let's start with the facts around Lola Salem...

Which ancestors?
Because James Townsend was our first known MP of colour in *1782*!
And we elected this guy, Dadabhai Naoroji, in 1892 for Finsbury.

Lucy, you’ve rather spectacularly proved my point.
You’re correct that permission to appeal isn’t automatic. But your application was refused, and the Court of Appeal’s published judgment is rather more authoritative than either of our opinions.
Paragraph 31: The sentencing judge expressly considered your mitigating circumstances, including your previous good character, family circumstances and personal tragedy.
Paragraph 64: The appeal judges explicitly rejected the argument that insufficient weight had been given to those mitigating factors.
Paragraph 66: The court found no arguable basis for concluding your sentence was manifestly excessive.
Three appeal judges. A published judgment. Your mitigation considered. Your challenge rejected.
Disagreeing with a judicial decision is your right. Calling the judiciary corrupt because you dislike that decision is not evidence of corruption.
You don’t need to take my word for it, Lucy. Read your own judgment.

I am so sick of twats like this.
Tell me again how mitigation was taken into consideration.
Tell me again how some tin pot, wannabe journalist knows more than a KC or indeed myself about my case.
You know that appeals aren’t just granted right? You know that a judge looks at the application and decides whether you have grounds to appeal.
If you people can’t see how corrupt the judiciary is at this point, there is absolutely no hope for you.

Zia, I’ve actually read the research you’ve linked.
Perhaps you should explain what it says, rather than what you would like people to believe it says.
The researchers explicitly conclude that migrants mostly did NOT take British workers’ jobs. They also explain that the working-age British population declined while the proportion in employment increased.
Your £78 billion figure is a modelled estimate of forgone earnings, not £78 billion demonstrably taken from British workers’ payslips.
Your £1,000 annual wage claim is likewise an estimated difference against a hypothetical scenario, not an actual £1,000 reduction in wages.
And here’s the particularly interesting detail: when London is included, the study’s estimated wage effect across England is not statistically distinguishable from zero.
The paper also does not establish that millions of migrants were unskilled.
There is a legitimate debate to be had about immigration, wages, skills and economic policy. But that debate deserves the full evidence, including the findings that complicate your argument.
If you’re going to cite a 75-page research paper as justification for removing millions of people from Britain, the very least you can do is represent its findings accurately.
The evidence matters. So do the qualifications.

Matt Goodwin demanded to be fact-checked live on air when he claimed the UK spent "£100 million PER YEAR on family planning and condoms in Pakistan".
He then 'corrected' himself to £74.3 million, saying it was based on a "major news story from October 2025"
He was, of course, still wrong...

George.
You appear to possess very little self awareness — a good trait for a Reform UK councillor, I'm sure, but not for day-to-day life.
You caused the violent mob; therefore you pay for it.
Your actions created a massive bill for your own constituents. Do you see?

Isabel, you chose to leave Britain and move to Dubai. You are of course still perfectly entitled to comment on the country, but sweeping declarations about the British state deserve rather more evidence than this.
⠀
“The British state is no longer working in the interests of the British people” is not a fact. It is a political judgement.
⠀
The state is still collecting taxes, passing and enforcing laws, educating millions of children, treating millions of people through the NHS, paying pensions and benefits, policing communities, defending the country and providing countless other services upon which tens of millions of British people rely every day.
⠀
Are there serious problems? Absolutely.
⠀
Is the asylum system too expensive? Yes. Around £4 billion was spent on asylum accommodation and support last year, and Government should be held accountable for every pound of it.
⠀
Are there legitimate concerns about border control, public safety, integration, housing and pressure on services? Of course there are.
⠀
But acknowledging those problems is rather different from declaring that the entire British state has ceased working for its own people.
⠀
Nor does spending money on one statutory responsibility prove that the same money has simply been “diverted” from another. Government spending on health, education, policing, defence, pensions and other public services continues on an enormously greater scale.
⠀
Likewise, “national security emergency” is an extraordinarily serious description. If you are using it as political rhetoric, say so. Do not present it as though it were an established constitutional fact.
⠀
Britain is not a failed state.
⠀
Its Government continues to function. Parliament continues to legislate. Courts continue to administer justice. Taxes continue to be collected. Schools open each morning. Hospitals treat patients. Police respond to crime. Businesses trade and tens of millions of people simply get on with their lives.
⠀
None of that means everything is fine.
⠀
It means that serious problems should be described proportionately and accurately.
⠀
There is quite enough wrong with British public policy to criticise without pretending that the country itself has ceased to function in the interests of its citizens.
⠀
That sort of rhetoric may be politically useful.
⠀
It is not the same thing as evidence.

This dangerously irresponsible fearmongering attention-seeking immigrant puts an unevidenced allegation in front of hundreds of thousands of people while keeping deniability.
It's pathetic.
She offers nothing but wild unevidenced speculation - no named source, and no check against public flight data.
Given her role on Murdoch's TalkTV and her pattern of grotesque dehumanising shit-stirring, this is attention-seeking and narrative management designed to outrage, polarise, and drive engagement.
