If the Father can sin, how is sin defined? Since God is the essence of goodness and origin of righteousness, against whom or what could He sin?This perspective implies that God is subject to a standard higher than Himself, which contradicts the concept of God.

Let me state this plainly. The Triune God didn’t peer down through time to see who would exercise their free will to choose to respond to and receive Jesus Christ.
God’s plan of redemption for His elect wasn’t based on an assumption of who would be saved. He elected those whom He sovereignly chose to save in eternity past for His own good pleasure—not based on human free will.

Hebrews 1–3 gives us a striking pattern: divine speech is successively attributed to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 1: The Father speaks, applying YHWH’s titles and creative work to the Son (Ps. 45; Ps. 102).
Hebrews 2: The Son speaks, expressing His solidarity with His brothers (Ps. 22; Isa. 8).
Hebrews 3: The Holy Spirit speaks, quoting YHWH’s warning to Israel: “Do not harden your hearts… I swore in my wrath…” (Ps. 95).
Notice what happens: “the Holy Spirit says” (λέγει), followed immediately by first-person YHWH language - “me/I.”
The Spirit is not merely mediating someone else’s words. He is presented as the divine speaker of the text.
That is precisely what we should expect if Hebrews is consistent with the broader New Testament revelation: the one true God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God isn’t sitting around trying to impress Leighton Flowers with His ability to invent a universe where His creatures operate independently of His decree.
It’s remarkable: You demand that Calvinists explain why God CAN’T create your hypothetical universe while you refuse to explain why the God of Scripture declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), accomplishes ALL His purposes (Daniel 4:35), and works ALL THINGS according to His will (Ephesians 1:11).
You’ve confused God’s omnipotence with an obligation to accommodate your philosophy.
The Almighty doesn’t need a permission slip from Soteriology 101 to govern His own creation.
Your hypothetical isn’t an argument against Calvinism. It’s an attempt to put God’s sovereignty on trial before the tribunal of Leighton Flowers.
And THAT, Leighton, is the breathtaking arrogance of your entire premise.
The most common Calvinist answer to whether God can create creatures who make decisions that He Himself doesn’t determine is that God cannot do the illogical.
Now it’s their burden to show how this is illogical and why God lacks the creativity or power to do it. 🤔
They criticize Open Theists for limiting God’s knowledge of future free choices based on similar logic, yet Open Theists at least do not limit God’s ability to create genuinely free creatures or make Him the author of all moral evil. 🤷♂️
