People talk up unit testing all the time. Integration testing doesn't get nearly as much love, and it is 10x more valuable. One of these Apple TVs has been streaming 19 cameras, recording all of them to a local NAS (via S3) in "original" quality, while transcoding one of them to "medium" quality for recording to the cloud. It also handles motion event capture and processing. This runs 24/7. This continuous testing revealed new ways that VideoToolbox will fail (sometimes silently!), and confirms that I haven't introduced any regressions in the latest Streamie builds. Streamie gets pushed harder in testing than most customers will ever require. You won't run into scalability issues because we've already been there and moved the bar.
