16 years ago, my wife (a special-ed teacher) and I made communication boards for nonverbal kids by hand — laminated photos, velcro, little kits so a parent could build one for their child.
That kit became iInteract. A child taps a picture and hears the word out loud. It just learned to speak Spanish and Mandarin, and you can add your own photos + record your own voice.
It's free. No ads, no accounts, everything stays on the device. For kids (and adults) who are nonverbal or building toward speech — autism, apraxia, Down syndrome.

Does anyone have recommendation on how to get @travelers to help me get premiums back they refunded to a credit card we cannot access. We have been trying for a year and basically just get a its not our problem response.
Be careful with auto-renewing subscriptions. Most companies are understanding and refund if you ask when you see the charge but I have found and exception @parallels is refusing to refund my 2025 charge even thought I provided evidence I canceled in 2024 they are refusing today!
