Year 1 had a brilliant morning exploring insects in Forest School! 🐛🌿 We retold a story, drilled wood to make ladybirds, tackled a blindfolded worm assault course and made pine cone bees. 🐞🪱🐝 We finished with delicious s’mores around the fire! 🔥🍫 Article 31 @eden_trust

Nursery’s Reading Workshop — growing a love of reading from the very start! 📖💖

🎨👕 Design Lab – Tie-Dye Creations! 👕🎨 Our Y5/6 Design Lab after-school club got creative this week, designing and making their own tie-dye T-shirts! The children experimented with colour and patterns to create some brilliant, unique designs. 🌈✨ Article 15 @eden_trust

Our children had another brilliant Forest School session today! 🌲🔥 ☄️ They used a clamp and hand drill to carefully make holes in conkers and turn them into comets.
🚀 They practised their whittling skills to create their own wooden rockets.

Class 3 and 4 have been stepping back to 1666! After learning how the fire started in Pudding Lane and why it spread so quickly, the children created their own Tudor-style houses and watched as they were safely set alight. 🏠🔥 Article 28 @eden_trust
