Is there a term for supposedly premium experiences that aren't? Amex Lounges are an example. When anyone can get in, no one can get in.
Hot take: Agents will make things easier, but more expensive. Mine just modded my Sony TV in 7 minutes. Nuked the adware and bloatware, and built a custom UI. All of which used to subsidized the price. At scale, we’ll pay the real cost for a good display. Probably for the best.
The software running on the Sony is a local copy of Gathin23/tv-vibehack (github.com/Gathin23/tv-vibeh…). My @Meta muse agent pulls in my daughters grades and posts to a simple @cloudflare worker. These are amazing times.
I can confirm this is really easy. And really great. @grok cli/TUI just smoked this. Found the tv on the network, pulled the model, looked everythig up and walked me through a few remote control clicks. Boom.
Plus, now i can customize my living room tv into the home dashboard/radiator I've wanted.
Hacked my TV with Claude Code today
No more ads, bloatware, spyware or laggy UI
I also got a beautiful screensaver with my revenue, calendar, weather, and notifications for new Stripe payments
It was super easy! I sent it the listing for my tv, asked "can you hack this?" And it talked me through how
The moustache on the left, and the crazy yellow legal pad on the right. Politics in Rock Spring, WY is more entertaining then it deserves to be. youtube.com/watch?v=p3pmEVHJ…

Spent today at @vercel Ship 26. Holy shit do they have their brand dialed in. Kudos @evilrabbit_
I find that LLMs drift and branch and leave more loose ends than they tie off. Unless I watch them like a hawk. And the smarter the model and higher the effort, the problem gets worse. Anyone have any good ideas? @dhh ?
In case you're wondering. Yes, your @CASIOJapan F-91W will survive a heavy-duty wash and dry cycle. There's a reason the Taliban rock these things.
Why does the ChatGPT nee Codex desktop app have these micky mouse training wheel even in "Full access" "dont' ask for permission" YOLO mode? This consent theater wastes so much freaking time. The TUI app just works until you run out of tokens.
There is no greater F-you to a customer than an IVR system. It says "our time is more valuable than yours" all I wanted was to ask my local @BestBuy if I left my card in the store. Now I'll never shop there again.
TIL that @hnshah might just be solving this.
Replying to @Apple
@Apple computers have always, famously, “just worked.” In 2026, that should mean a permission that doesn’t require screen-sharing into a GUI just to click Allow. @johnternus

What’s happening in the AI-powered reverse engineering and decompilation is absolutely insane. Pretty soon all software will be de facto open-source.
AI is coming for everything and everyone.
I'll bet it works reasonably well. And I don't see Enterprises ditching Adobe licenses for a project that could be abandoned in six months time. It's an impressive thing to build. But building and maintaining are not the same.
This is the doom I predicted a few days ago, coming for Photoshop. A clean-room open-source reimplementation.
No prizes for guessing that they decompiled Photoshop to source code, processed that to some kind of non-code specification language, then fed the spec to an LLM with an instruction to generate Rust.
Adobe just got nuked. And closed source is dead, dead, dead.

I've used @Grokbot, Buzz and a few other multi-agent workspaces. But none worked as well as the one we rolled ourselves at @encodedbrands. Here's how we did it.
Genius Level click bait. These guys make launch videos. So they made a ridiculous product to make a video from. How soon before someone actually ships this?

Bourgious-left discourse is best served with dollops of moral certainty & snark. @guardian is a great source. But @MarinaHyde's take on the Sweeny campaign for (brand?) seems almost...moderate. Will I need a new daily Marxist media safari?
