DevSwitch is officially Store Switch and is rolling out now to the App Store. Rebuilt into SwiftUI, it now also offers widgets for quick access to your favourite store regions. apps.apple.com/us/app/store-…

DevSwitch is functional on devices running 13.1. Seems 13.0 broke the method but 13.1 fixed it which is nice. I’ve pushed up an updated build with dark mode support to GitHub now.

Received a follow up call by a great member of the App Review team. The concept of the app is still disallowed which is expected. The case of the clone has been escalated internally to be looked into. Sounds like it will be removed from sale in the coming days.

When someone blatantly copies your app before you can ship and then Apple rejects your app but accepts the same concept in the clone. Yup, App Review is bullshit.

Today I received a call from the App Review team, to confirm that DevSwitch would not be allowed on the App Store. Read more about my plans for DevSwitch’s future here: devswitch.app.

Second “Guideline 4.2.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality” rejection for @devswitchapp now. Unsure how Siri Shortcuts, 3D Touch quick actions and more doesn’t meet this requirement, there are certainly apps that do a lot less out there.

Responded to this with a list of features that are beyond minimum function such as Siri integration and so forth.

Rejected for 4.2.2, minimum functionality.
