Last Thursday marked the 12th STOOR Live at Paradiso. After taking the format to Sónar and FuturFestival this season, it felt good to be back at our home base @ParadisoAdam during @dkmntl festival. We brought those recent experiences back with us, using them to rethink details, try new ideas and shake off some routines. @stoorlab is a canvas for everyone involved, and this group is an incredibly deep source of ideas. We’ve only scratched the surface of what this collective can do. So for this edition, we put ourselves on the line again and threw ourselves into the deep end. Just press start and trust the process. Everything on intuition; that’s where the creativity lives. The constellation of musicians and visual artists this time was a perfect match. A beautiful conversation, with everyone speaking equally, bringing ideas from every side of the table while leaving enough space for each of them to bloom. Thank you to all the makers, and everyone who contributed to this special gathering!

Less than a week until the monolith rises again in Paradiso! Next Thursday, 30 July, we’ll reassemble the spaceship for another seven-hour marathon session, fully improvised from start to finish. New this time: the second area moves to the Basement, where SnPLO will take centre stage for a fully improvised set of their own. See you at Dekmantel x STOOR Live in Paradiso! paradiso.nl/en/program/dekma…
