I hope that, one day when robots have become capable of performing everything that humans currently dosomeone will remember this message. We did our absolute best for @axisrobotics. I certainly would have liked to produce more content and delve into more technical details along the way.
In short, here is what I’ve gathered... Axis has established a closed loop system where anyone can contribute without the need for additional hardware, and where the robot’s intelligence improves itself as more data is generated.
This cycle will eventually enable the system to acquire a truly unique dataset. And in this world, whoever holds the big data becomes the best.
For those of us hunting for airdrops, here’s something worth a closer look: the $AXIS TGE might take place this week.
The start time in the contract is set for October 21, 11:00 UTC. 83.7% of the supply is locked; three wallets labeled Binance each hold 9.999 million tokens, and smaller transfers were also made to a wallet labeled "Gate." Can a robot replicate a single human hand movement perfectly and without error?
Everyone agrees that this is certainly no easy task. Yet, there are hundreds of achievements today things that would have seemed like magic just 50 years agothat were once considered incredibly difficult. The "magic" behind @axisrobotics will also be driven by "real and diverse physical data."
This data consists of visual information shared by real users while performing actual tasks on mobile devices, as well as 100% authentic data generated by real people via web browsers.
The lack of such data is a major shortcoming in the field of robotics. The project that generates and possesses this data is destined to become a giant in the robotics industry.
One thing we learned from simulation: the goal is to transfer skills.
We trained manipulation experts in sim, distilled them into vision policies with visual randomization, and deployed them to real robots.
The resulting policy handles randomized object placements smoothly across the space, with no need for fixed positions.
