This takes drone warfare to a whole new level.
🇨🇳🇺🇸China deployed dozens of research vessels, including the Dong Fang Hong 3, to map the ocean floor across the Pacific, Indian, and Arctic oceans throughout 2024 and 2025.
The surveys focused on strategic zones near Taiwan, Guam, the Malacca Strait, and waters around Hawaii and Australia, gathering seabed and hydrographic data that naval experts say will aid Chinese submarine deployment and anti-submarine warfare against the U.S.
