Thanks @tweetelissa for visiting @StoddertPTO for the meeting of @GPCADC in @gloverpark. We appreciate you taking the time to engage in discussions and hope to see you again soon!

Today marks the close of @StoddertPTO’s fiscal year. What a year it has been! Feeling incredibly grateful for everything our community accomplished together. Thank you to every volunteer, teacher, staff member, committee chair, donor, and family who helped make this such a successful year. Whether you gave your time, talents, or support, you made a big difference. Marian, it’s been such a pleasure to serve alongside you. Couldn’t ask for a better partner! Thank you all for making this year so special. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together in the year ahead. Enjoy your summer and Go Wolves! 🐺

Congratulations to DC’s presumptive Mayor-Elect Janeese Lewis George. I look forward to working with you and your administration through @StoddertPTO and beyond. Wishing you success as you prepare for the work ahead for our city @janeese4dc. – at Washington, DC

Had a blast MCing @StoddertPTO’s annual International Night! 🌎 23 nations represented from the school’s diverse community including food, cultural education, and amazing guest performances. Truly spectacular! – at Washington, DC

A roarin’ good time at the annual Stoddert Auction Party 🥂 Our biggest fundraiser of the year brought out an incredible crowd and far surpassed our donation goal. Thank you to everyone who contributed! It was truly special to spend the evening with so many members of this community; people we’ve come to know and love, and have worked alongside throughout the year. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as @StoddertPTO President this past year. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited for the next year and where we’re headed. Let’s go, Wolves! 🐺

Loved being part of @MayorBowser’s 10th Annual Spring Cleanup! Spent the day sprucing up Guy Mason Recreation Center in Ward 3’s @gloverpark alongside neighbors, community leaders, and an outstanding team from @DCDPW. Big thanks to @DCMOCRS @WARD3_MOCRS for bringing it all together. And to @DCDPR for caring for our spaces year-round!

Love our monthly Coffee With The Principal gatherings at @StoddertPTO. It invites a casual conversation regarding the most pressing issues facing the school between staff, the PTO, and the general parent community. Sometimes even prospective families!

Praying for the two victims who have been tragically shot in Glover Park in NW DC late this afternoon. @StoddertPTO was immediately put under lockdown which included students in aftercare, parents who had arrived to pick up their kids, aftercare staff, and @dcpublicschools and @DCDPR employees. Everyone in the school community is safe and has now been dismissed. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept and @SecretService for ensuring safety for our children.

With @stoddertpto’s incredible custodial crew! 🪏 These heroes have been out in the bitter cold for days, clearing heavy snow and ice to make our school safe and accessible. It was exhausting, but deeply fulfilling to lend a hand alongside them. Huge thanks to the parents and kids who showed up to help. The crew was so appreciative and our students will be as well when @dcpublicschools are finally back in class. This is the power of community in action. Neighbors showing up, shovels in hand, smiles on their faces. Stay safe and warm, everyone.
