anyone who knows anything about a union knows they are democratic. The union leadership doesn't decide whether there's a strike. The members vote on it, and they're the ones who turn out to the protests.
Was the PSA strike politically motivated? Minister Willis seems to think so. 👀
And it’s not hard to see why. The PSA is running an explicit “Change the Government” election campaign, while thousands of its members have just gone on strike against the Government.
The PSA says it is not affiliated with any political party. But if a public-sector union is actively campaigning to change the Government, should we be asking whether the public service is really politically neutral?
