Bottom line: Eclipses are most dangerous to the eyes when they are total or nearly so, because there is a tiny amount of very bright light that it is possible to look at, while it burns the retina. The 2024 eclipse is that type, but none of the others were. (5/5)

I suppose that the difference is that, when A goes on strike and refuses to work for B, or when B locks out A because they're unwilling to pay them, in each case it's one of the parties to an employee-employee arrangement that wants to suspend that arrangement. (1/2)
