The Elizabeth Holmes documentary is incredible but there is not a single good person involved, Fielder and Seyfried included. The evil of all these people combined is what makes it so compelling.
Maybe evil is lofty for her but you can’t walk away from that thinking Seyfried looks good. Fielder is a very exploitative filmmaker and all of his previous work points to that. He’s not even shying away from showing it here.
Don't be fooled by the hype. This is THREE HOURS of turgid, lugubrious shots of unpleasant, unattractive, clinically depressed rich people ineptly manipulating each another. Possibly the most boring movie I've ever seen. Much left unexplained but who cares, the stakes are so low.
