Engagement and conversion are not the same thing--but having one certainly helps you get the other.
A personal brand can sell just as effectively as a corporate brand now. So, being yourself literally has economic value.
Once you establish the authority in your field where people will read about your ideas, finding something to write about will never be a problem again.
Is copywriting an art or a science? Yes.
Some techniques of copywriting and sales simply work better for certain products and certain markets. That doesn't mean that they aren't worth trying for others.
Remember, you can always go back through a piece of #AI written content and add your own style and branding. It's almost better than having an employee.
At this point, possibly the surest way to tell the difference between a piece of copy written by #AI and one written by a human is that the AI doesn't immediately resort to trite, hack-y sales tactics.
A lot of #AI apps have been around a lot longer than people assume. And that also means that if you haven't tried them yet...they're better than you think.
Why are people in marketing still talking about heuristics like AIDA and PAS years and years after they were conceived? Simple...because they work.
At a certain point, you just can't keep passing the buck further down the chain of command for an undesirable writing assignment. That's where #AI comes in.
Just like other bots in various industries, #AI can now do the tough, tedious jobs that no human wants to do. And amazing things are getting done because of it.
#AI really is the end of all writer's block. But whether that is a good or a bad thing to those of us who write copy for a living remains to be seen.

If you write something and send it out and nobody reads it...is it really copy?
We're quickly reaching a point where instead of doing keyword research to target your articles, you can take fully-fledged ideas generated by #AI and simply proofread them.
As a copywriter, marketer, or entrepreneur of any kind, your job isn't to be original--it's to be effective.
Many businesses have been lost on a big risk that was taken going wrong. But many more have never acheived success because they didn't take any risks whatsoever.
Being an entrepreneur isn't really about making money--it's about ownership. Ownership of your own business, your intellectual capital, and your life.
Entrepreneurship is simultaneously the most exclusive club and the broadest shared experience you will ever have.
For every marketing agency owner that feels like they're overworked because they sit at a desk for 18 hours a day...try owning a landscaping business or running a food truck.
We tend to glamorize entrepreneurship because it's part of the dream, but gloss over the hard work that it takes to build a business.
