Again, I say this with love to my fellow Latter-day Saints: the sooner you give up trying to convince the religious right to validate your faith, the sooner you'll know peace. Are we real Christians? Only one opinion mattersāand it's not Pete Hegseth's.

Mitt Romney to Harvard Business School graduates: "There's more to a country than its economy. To be a great nation, it must also be a good nation. The world needs good men. It needs good women. Good leaders. Good parents raising good children. There is no national success that could compensate for failure to be a good and noble people."

Some of Fazioās comments in this (fabulous) story on the Trump muni takeover are so out of touch they literally defy belief.
Like if a guy accused of arson gave an interview talking about the benefits of gasoline, matches and fire insurance payouts
Spoke to Tom Fazio this week about Trumpās D.C. muni project. At first, Fazio didnāt want the job, fearing the āaggravationā of all the red tape. Then he saw the site and couldnāt resist.

Iāve covered the Masters since 2005. What makes it so special? Well, plenty. But hereās the best explanation I can come up with: Itās the only place youāll ever go where everyone is exactly where they want to be. DisneyWorld? No way. Family wedding? Doubtful. But Augusta National during Masters week? You wonāt find a single person whoād rather be somewhere else. Add in the device-free environment and it makes for such a unique dynamic that you literally wonāt find elsewhere. Everyone is just happy to be where their feet are.

The Supreme Court got it right. Tariffs are taxes, and under our Constitution, the power to tax belongs to Congress, not the executive. Free markets and separation of powers are essential to American prosperity. wsj.com/opinion/donald-trumpā¦

From @WSJopinion: Trump owes the Supreme Court an apologyāto the Justices he smeared and the institution itself. He doubtless wonāt offer one, but his rant in response to his tariff defeat at the Court was arguably the worst moment of his Presidency.
