I sometimes despair at the Church of England, an institution seemingly intent on dismantling itself from within. And then I remember the peace and joy found in the rhythm of worship, focused on the eternal word, known in time.
More than 150 people gathered with us to celebrate the Feast of St Giles with Holy Communion, fine music, preaching and a BBQ afterward!
It was lovely to welcome back the Revd Edward McMillan, a former St Giles intern, to preach.

At the heart of our parish, on a street named after a former Rector, a terrible thing has happened.
Our prayers are with all those affected, and our thanks go to our uniformed services for their courage and service.
