Russia could end the war at any time. China could cut off Russia economically and technologically and the Russian war machine would grind to a halt. Putin and Xi make the choice not to do these things every day while more innocent Ukrainians die.
I saw a real missile made by North Korea in Ukraine. I did not see a Chinese missile. But I know that their technologies get to Russia. The machinery they use comes from China, likely along with smart people and technologies.
I don’t see China pushing Russia to stop the war. I never saw that. Maybe they do that during some of their bilateral meetings. I don’t know. But I think that they have huge influence over Russia, especially now, when there are a lot of sanctions, the shadow fleet, and cut-off energy and banking systems. Of course, China can find a way to push Putin toward negotiations. I’m sure, but they didn’t do it. And if you can and don’t, is it support or not?
It’s a pity that China is not on our side in this war, politically. It’s not even about weapons. It’s about political will. And it’s a pity because this war can be stopped immediately by strong leaders, including China. It’s a pity that they are not on our side. But that’s not the problem. That’s a pity. The problem is that they are not in the middle. Because they are a little bit more with Russia. And for them to be a little bit more with Russia – I mean, not to give weapons directly, but to be more open to them, more helpful to them than to us – for such a big country, a little bit is a lot.

At this time, now that it's undeniable that doxxing this man caused him to be in reasonable fear of great bodily harm or worse and to experience substantial emotional distress, the doxxer should be charged with stalking under VAWA. It's a federal law, one that allows police to charge the offender even if the victim doesn't file a complaint, and it's allegedly gender neutral.

He has now settled for a security deal that preserves Danish sovereignty and expands military access the US already largely had.
Create a crisis. Negotiate your way back to normal. Brand the cleanup “historic.”

As a Dane, I dont like that the USA have gotten anything in Greenland at all because I do not like to reward threats.
But it does seem that the USA have mostly gotten things that they already had and can now rule out scenarios that were never going to happen anyway.
China and Russia will still never be allowed to have military bases in Greenland and the USA continues to have the right to have military bases like they have had since 1951.
It is very far from 'we are going to own Greenland' but it does matter and can not just be written off as nothing.
Trump whisperers who will claim that this once again is a victory for Trump's negotiation style do, however, have to ask themselves the question. Was it worth it? Because the threats and blackmailing will never be forgotten.
The Danish officials will smile and thank the USA for the agreement but once you have threatened someone with military invasion, they will never like or trust you again.
So the USA does now have slightly stronger security rights in Greenland but as you are already seeing in Iran, the days where countries like Denmark followed the USA whenever they called us are gone and that was worth a lot more.

Several women stated they knew from the start they were going to vote not guilty because "this could be the precedent for other women in this situation". Not a peep from any of yous having a problem them being biased on not following the judge's request. Fuck these double standards.
