Yes, HTTP track and trace is a vulnerability. A root NetServer share is far worse and they never find things like that. Ever. #IBMi
Rolled a customer back from #IBMi password level 4 today. Fun Monday morning!
Okay so a little update on our trip back from Dallas. Landed in Toronto on Sunday morning. Flight scheduled to leave at 2:45 PM. Boarded around 2:15 PM. No catering on the plane so we waited for three-plus hours at the gate until the flight ended up being cancelled at 6 PM.
So I'm continuing my two-plus hours on hold with @AirCanada at a hotel this morning. In total, probably spent TEN hours on the phone waiting to speak with someone since Sunday, plus many hours in line at Pearson.
BTW, regarding the Delta crash yesterday. First responders did a great job. However the communications from Pearson and @AirCanada was full of mixed messages and disorganized. The airport terminals were full on chaos. A far different experience from what you saw on the news.

This is concerning. There are already other indications that this breach was not limited to @CBVRCE_NS. If you have info, this account will protect your privacy.
We’ve been advised there’s been a recent frantic effort to remove Social Insurance Numbers & other private info from PowerSchool by leadership of all Regional Centres for Education in Nova Scotia.
We need more information.

That PowerSchool breach is likely about as “contained” as a fart on a plane. The @gnspes email address on this phishing attempt is from a grade 12 student at Amherst Regional High School. That’s @CCRCE_NS. Maybe more affected than just @CBVRCE_NS.
@nseducation
Are they going to take a statement of the 4th person from CPA that was sent to hospital that day? Four ambulances dispatched. Four patients delivered: two staff, the accused and another young person. I’ve given these FOIPOP releases to media who don’t seem bothered to follow up.

This is information released by the Department of Health and Wellness. FOIPOP numbers 2023-01285-HEA and 2023-02160-HEA. It’s public information.

After a scathing @OAG_NS indictment of growing violence, an admitted lack of checks and balances at @nseducation, and despite a $140 million-plus surplus, @nsgov reverses course and decides school boards will not be reinstated.
Hey @TimHoustonNS, WTF is wrong with you?
Maybe it’s just me, but global IT outages don’t seem to happen on #IBMi.
During a penetration test in April, I discovered an #IBMi vulnerability that allows command line access with privilege elevation that's since been patched. Another reason to keep your systems up to date. I won't be discussing the details in order to protect unpatched systems.
My wife had another successful brain surgery at the QEII hospital today. No tumor regrowth or anything…just a repair job because there was a persistent spinal fluid leak from the surgery in January. And the plate came loose bc of it. Brain surgery nonetheless. Couple points. 🧵
Nova Scotia healthcare is simply overloaded. An example? There’s not enough beds and rooms for people to heal. Patients recovering in hallways post-op. She waited in recovery for about six hours before getting into a room. And I feel lucky they finally have a place for her.
Ironically, adverts for the YourHealthNS app were on the walls & on the mounted tv displays. We don’t need more spent on useless apps that just curate links. We need quality healthcare from start to finish. We need actual solutions, and not apps that add zero value. #nspoli
