We have 10 years of gas supply under the ground in Lincolnshire and the most expensive electricity in the World.
Welcome to Great Britain!
Just cancelled my heatpump with @OctopusEnergy
Their electricity prices and obcene standing charges now make heatpumps obsolete.
Even living in a City the time has come to go off-grid
Why are energy companies subsidising heatpumps at the expense of other customers?
If heatpumps are so marveless let them pay the same rate for electricity as others
Octopus Agile can be £1 a kwh. A heatpump could cost up to £16 an hour at that price

£6 handguards and £8 screen working well keeping the cold out
How is the UK so dangerously low on gas when there is so much under the North Sea, we have so many windmills and solar panels that we dont need to burn much gas to make electricity?
What the hell is going on in the Country, why is everything aspect of living being destroyed?

The electricity is such an extreem price that it is unusable on such a freezing cold day.
@OctopusEnergy @g__j @OctopusElectro
Is UK wholesale electricity really near £1 KWH?
Very hard to go to work while watching your neighbour with the bad back go fishing for the day in his brand new electric car that you are paying for
🇬🇧🇳🇱 A near-record 2.8m people are out of work because of ill health, a rise of close to 700,000 compared to before Covid.

Instead of pushing pension ages up, why not let pensioners retire and fill their jobs with all of the benefit claimants who never work?
