Fantastic to see the recognition from @ResusCouncilUK that in-hospital courses aren’t suited to prehospital care. We need specific courses targeted to the unique challenges we face in the environment in which we operate
A lovely present from Jodi 3rd year Student Para on our last shift together last night😁
A real pleasure mentoring someone who is keen with a great gift for patient communication which is half the battle in dealing with people in need of help😊
And she makes great cups of tea☕️💚
Had the privilege to be part of the Guard of Honour at the Cenotaph in London last Sunday 13th Nov.
A memory that will last for ever representing Yorkshire Ambulance Service alongside colleagues from other Ambulance Services, Police and Fire service 🌺
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is an important link in the 'Chain of Survival' as a Paramedic I've seen how CPR performed by a member of the public contributes to a better chance of survival for the person in cardiac arrest❤️
Be a Trystander not a Bystander ❤️
A great outcome from a difficult arrest in a fairly remote location and it was a bit breezy on the path at the top of the cliffs.
Only possible due to bystander CPR and excellent teamwork from Coastguard, Yorkshire Ambulance and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
We never gave up ❤️
At the end of a busy shift yesterday covering urban and coastal areas one of the ‘make ready’ team asked me where I got my car ‘mascot’ from?
I wondered why I was getting some funny looks driving back to station🚑

Today is #999day - a day to celebrate and honour our colleagues across the emergency services.
At 9am we will be taking part in a two minute silence to remember those who have lost their lives as a result of their service.

Yesterday saw @swasFT taking part in a triage workshop at Winterbourne Gunner in collaboration with @NHSEngland, there had been yet another terrible accident at the train station….
Tucson EMS community is hurting.
Thoughts and prayers for family and colleagues of our EMS cousins across the Pond 🇺🇸🚑
Don’t take life for granted…enjoy every second and make it count…last nights shift brought that home big style…everyone take care of yourself, your family, your friends and be kind to one and another 💚
Just received this book after pre-ordering it in May…brilliant pictures taken in 2020 during the height of the pandemic…each picture in the book portrays a moment we’ve all seen, or heard or experienced…A fantastic book from the National Portrait Gallery in London.
