if you have a problem with the student loan cancellation because you already paid off your loans, just pretend its a tax cut for the rich that you also never got but mysteriously didn't complain about.

2 local shops are closed right now due to staff having covid. I don't think it is a huge coincidence they are both places that no longer require masking of employees or patrons.

“We can have different opinions and still be friends” doesn’t apply to human rights.

The @maineGOP also enshrined opposition to abortion in its platform.
The people who want to take away your freedom to have an abortion support Paul LePage. If they win back power, they can and will go after your rights. We cannot let it happen. #mepolitics

LePage is supported by some of the state's and country's most virulent anti-abortion activists, from the @CCLMaine, who wants an "end to abortion in Maine," to @GOPGovs chair Pete Ricketts who wants to ban abortion with no exceptions for rape and incest. #mepolitics

When LePage was governor the first time, he repeatedly attacked Mainers’ abortion rights, and since announcing his 2022 campaign, he has signaled his openness to signing abortion restrictions into law. Today's ruling means that he can easily do so. #mepolitics

When trans people lose rights everyone becomes open to scrutiny by the gender police. Anyone empowered to police gender is not trying to protect anyone - they’re like a teacher that hates you and loves their red pen.
Not really sure what my family wants from me when they tell me about their friendships with "very conservative" people and how they just avoid difficult topics to maintain the relationship. Like, Cool?? Are you looking for my queer stamp of approval? because you don't have it :/
Not true actually and the real story is better: he sold Dylan a power cable for $1 and threw in the monitor for free.
