Citylink could have been back in public hands now (2026), there was a clause in original 1995 contract on profits which meant that was possible, but your Government made a deal with Transurban in 2015, without asking the Victorian people , to extend the tolls on Citylink, the most profitable fully private toll roads in the world, till 2045. This was done in exchange for Transurban funding the construction of Westgate Tunnel, a project your Govt was told by 50 experts not to agree to, as it was a terrible design. You ignored the experts. The tunnel is empty and useless. It was meant to cost 4 Billion but cost 11 Billion. The taxpayer ended up funding a lot of that 11 billion. The state is almost 200 billion in debt. All your corporate and union mates are richer. Victoria is so much poorer. We cannot afford 4 more years of @VictorianLabor thievery.
BREAKING: Labor will cap public transport fares at $30 a week.

Bank of America data shows clearly that for every dollar a customer deposits into a sports book or predictions market they return less than 75 cents. Sports betting is a curse, prediction markets are a tool for insider trading and rip off all other users. Don’t waste your life on these…

Biomarkers matter, and here’s why. Biomarkers are biological clues like DNA, proteins, or genetic mutations that can be measured in your blood or tumor tissue. They help doctors understand what makes your cancer unique and guide decisions about the best treatments for your situation. How are they tested? Biomarker testing is done through a tissue biopsy (taking a sample from the tumor) or a liquid biopsy (a blood draw). These samples go to a lab and are analyzed for specific changes that your care team can use to personalize your treatment. Why it’s so important? Knowing your biomarker profile can help doctors: • Choose treatments most likely to work for you • Avoid treatments that may not be effective • Determine if targeted therapies or clinical trials are options • Understand how your cancer might behave over time You’re not alone — our Cancer Care program and Helpline are here to support you with information and guidance every step of the way. Call the Alliance's certified patient navigators for help navigating testing, treatment options, and next steps. Learn more at colorectalcancer.org. Which dental experts did you consult to come up with this plan @BenCarrollMP ? Or was it dreamed up without any specialist input like Smile Squad was?
Victorians shouldn't have to live with pain because they can't afford dental care. It's why a re-elected Carroll Labor Government will make sure all Victorians can get free dental treatment with 10 public dental clinics. And we're backing a strong health care workforce to help deliver it - by offering dental assisting courses through Free TAFE.

Replying to @aaronsmith
It's still an important point - a $230 million announcement that was effectively a thought bubble. To the best of my knowledge, no experts consulted - a repeat of the disastrous dental vans announcement of 2018 which was based on misinterpretation of faulty data with expert input

Ben, Ben, Ben. There are lots of ways to improve access to dental care. This is not one of them.
We're going to make dental free with public dental clinics. A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will open 10 free Public Dental Clinics across Victoria - making it easier for more Victorians to get the care they need.

Just for context - the Victorian public dental system currently treats only 400,000 patients EACH year with about 65 clinics. An extra 10 is not going to allow them to provide free care to ALL Victorians.
Victorians would get free dental work 365 days a year across a string of new dental clinics under a bold new $230m Labor election pledge > bit.ly/3S7TqvE
