===== 1 ===== Prices rose 3.7% over the past year. Pay rose 3.0%. After inflation, hourly pay fell 0.7%, per BLS. That's more than double August's 0.3% drop. The cause is energy. Gasoline rose 9.1% in September alone and caused more than half of the monthly increase in consumer prices. Energy is up 20.4% over the year. Leave out food and energy, and prices rose 2.6%, which is less than pay growth. The squeeze comes from energy. ===== 2 ===== Wholesale prices jumped too. Producer prices rose 1.3% in September, the biggest monthly gain since March 2022. Over the year, they're up 6.3%, the most since December 2022. Wholesale goods prices rose 2.6% in one month. That's the largest since BLS began calculating the series in December 2009. More than 80% of it was energy. Issue 004 noted PPI running ahead of CPI. CPI has since moved up, from 3.4% to 3.7%. ===== 3 ===== Here's the odd part. Long-term yields fell. 10-year: 5.24% → 5.09% 30-year: 5.60% → 5.43% 2-year: 4.80% → 4.74% Hot inflation data usually pushes yields up. This week it didn't. I don't have a clear explanation for this move. Bloomberg reported Monday that Treasuries fell as tech shares rebounded, which fits with some of last week's rally being a move out of stocks. That's one day's read, and it doesn't explain the whole week. ===== 4 ===== The full issue also covers: — CBO's fiscal 2026 deficit: about $2.0 trillion, with spending growing twice as fast as revenue — Wall Street's argument over AI debt — Mortgage rates at 7.4% and builders cutting prices — What "real" wages are and why they fell 0.7% Plus the dates to watch before the Fed meets Oct. 27–28. I’ve voted red my whole life… I’ve decided to vote straight Democrat in the midterms. Not because their party is of value, as I think they are the trash destroying the social fabric of America, but because I want to see if America still works. I hope they impeach that warmonger Israeli little spoon, dismantle his sycophants, and stop the totalitarian train wreck. We aren’t going to comply with the left’s destructive social policies anyway. If they can’t, then we turn the page.

It is not "old, white" men who are polluting the world's rivers and oceans Ten rivers in Africa and Asia (including India) account for around 90% of all plastic pollution carried into the sea, for example America and Europe are quite good about not doing this
I’m so fucking sick and tired of the entire planet being destroyed by old white, insecure, abusive men.

This is 100% true. Many people dislike Jews because they are jealous that they have extreme in-group preference and have a nation state of their people. I remember early on when I started paying attention to modern politics I was angry that we don’t have that in America, and I was also pointing attacks at Israeli focused people, yet I’ve come to realize that was solely a jealousy standpoint. In reality, they can be great allies because, for certain Jewish people, the in-group can be American nationalists and they will fight for you. Obviously 70% of Jews are democrats and they are not allies, but for Jews like Stephen Miller or Yoram Hazony, they are fighting for us, the American man. It is a low intelligence position to single out Jews as being adversarial because you are ignoring their uniqueness as a deeply loyal people. I wouldn’t even call myself an inherent friend to Israel, but where a people can serve the American nationalist agenda, they will be considered a friend.

Tuff ass rant about despicable boomers like Roger Stone, and the inevitable passing of the torch to the Young Groypers. “Only we can light a fire inside the young people. Only we can inspire the young people to go out and do the thankless, sacrificial work of trying to infiltrate the GOP while hiding their power level. Only we can inspire the cognitive elite at Yale, at Harvard, at Stanford. Only we can do that, and that is what they fear, is a cadre of motivated, politically conscious, informed, agentic, autonomous young men that are out there on a mission and whom they cannot identify. And by that I mean people that are out there with their, with our agenda, lying to their bosses saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m a pro-Israel conservative, yeah, whatever. They don’t know who we are, they don’t know who to fire, they don’t know how to stop us. And we’re getting promoted, rising through the ranks. They’re running out of time. They’re literally dying. I see people like Roger Stone. Roger Stone is always talking trash. Well, sadly for Roger Stone, he’s not going to be around for much longer. Roger Stone won’t be on planet Earth in about 10 years, let’s say, if we’re being generous. That’s the difference. All these boomers can clutch their pearls about the Groypers, but they’re not going to be around very soon. And it’s going to be the Groypers that eulogize them at their funerals with their fingers crossed behind their back. Yeah, yeah, this, you know, the late great whoever, the late great Dennis Prager, he was always such a valiant conservative. And I’m honored that I was chosen as his replacement. That’s how it’s going to go. So, make no mistake about it, this is the war for the future of the GOP.”

Vivek Ramaswamy constantly tries to convince Ohioans that a data center boom would be “great” for our state. But he really means it’s great for him. Despite my calls for him to divest his individual stocks, as I did myself over 6 months ago, he has continued to cash in on millions of dollars of investments that he holds at every single level of the AI data center industry. It is clear he will say anything to line his own pockets and help himself while selling out the rest of us. Ohio deserves better.

Maybe the most important commercial ever made. You should watch it very carefully, pay close attention, and then make sure that your own family and home life are exactly the opposite of this ad in every single respect. I don't think that's the takeaway Apple had in mind however.
