“Mum, I don’t feel well. I’ve had a drink of water, a poo, a paracetamol a little sit down, a deep breath, listed 5 positives and prayed - what now?” 🤣😱
Well now we panic, or sleep, or call an ambulance, or just congratulate you on all those good choices!
Youth Bible study today.

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.”
🤯 we’re loved by Jesus - as much as God the Father loves the Son! 🎉
As someone who has been involved in kids ministry for over 20 years - today I used a pipe cleaner - to clean an actual pipe! 😱
Sunday school teacher highs - a lad in my group read Psalm 23 today - and used his name instead of “me / my”. His smile was so huge, he thought it was so good, that he gave the Bible a clap - others joined in. 🐑 😀 - we also got icing on our shoes.

Reflecting on the parenting shift as kids enter the teen years. I’ve moved from C Beebies style presenter and activity organiser to Youth Hostel warden. Advice on rules, chores, wifi code, lights out policy etc and Love is spelled one of the following 3 ways
In Sunday School this morning. Little pal asks me, 🤔 “will I have autism in heaven”. 💡 Love it! We agreed he’d keep all the good things about his autism that make him him - energy, questions, creativity, all the hard things would go - and it’d be called “awesome” instead. 💥
World book day parents - especially those whose kids have changed their mind on their outfit in the last 24 hours…. I see you. 👀

Explaining to my children the old concept of 3 rings ☎️ - just to know your safe. Response “so Mum, was this an early form of morse code?” 😱

Primary school life = “Mum, we’re supposed to go dressed as warthogs today… for the environment” 😱
Secondary School version = “Mum, I need mungo beans and a quince for food tech” 😱 ( I exaggerate - mildly)
