It’s so irritating that the media totally accept AI it’s a huge threat. They sound scared. But they do not talk about the climate crisis in the same way. When they talk about climate breakdown they present Net Zero as the threat. It’s absolute madness. Reality:

PENSIONER ON TRICYCLE RUN OVER TWICE BY DRIVERS ONE USING SNAPCHAT BOTH JAILED Eighty one year old James Lawley was killed on Oxcliffe Road in Morecambe Lancashire on September 21 2025 when first struck by Matthew Isherwood aged 28 who was using Snapchat and Instagram moments before the crash. The impact threw Lawley into the carriageway where he was then run over by Kevin Dawson aged 64 in a Mercedes who continued driving believing he had hit rubble. At Preston Crown Court yesterday Isherwood was jailed for five years and two months for causing death by dangerous driving and banned from driving for seven years and seven months. Dawson received eight months suspended for 20 months for causing death by careless driving plus an electronic curfew and 18 month driving ban. Detective Sergeant Matt Davidson said the case shows the devastating consequences of using a mobile phone at the wheel.

This excellent lorry driver waits patiently behind until there is a safe place to pass the cyclist. He then overtakes giving plenty of space. A wave of thanks from the cyclist and thumbs up from the driver. Hats off to you sir!
