Have a family joint acct, salary or wages goes directly into it. It is now family money Have a budget of general, wife, husband & miscellaneous expense Transfer these expenses to separate accts. keep/invest what is left in joint acct Both would be careful of how they spend
Maybe this is also why they inflate school fees and every bill in the house. She doesn't know how much you're earning and you're busy forming Odogwu while the bill is killing you. You need financial transparency to run a home. Your wife is your partner, she is not your last child.

Whenever we see some of the damage done since 2015 in Nigeria, we scream “APC MUST GO!” The question we don't ask ourselves deeply is how this will realistically happen? APC has mutated from being a parasite that can be removed with an election after 16 years, the way the earlier parasite PDP was displaced, because they learned from the host (Nigeria) and are now a deadly virus. First, they killed PDP from the inside, something that PDP could never have achieved with the APC, and have advanced state capture from both the grassroots and the top in a pincer movement while taking advantage of the favorable headwinds created by a frothy oil market. They now have much more money than they could imagine. The host is sustaining and strengthening them. They have also successfully captured the leaders of industry as opposition from them at this stage when you have something at stake is suicidal. My visit to Lagos last week opened my eyes; nobody who has anything of value in Nigeria that can be threatened by policy or regulation is acting against the APC. America is also now like that, or even worse with Trump, so I don't blame anyone. They do what they must to survive. I can't forget what one of the big guys in Nigerian tech and payments told @OoTheNigerian in Edo pidgin many years ago: “You don see reesh activist?” There are indeed no rich activists except those pursuing the interests of the regime in power. I even have relatives doing that. I still believe that all of this is on the surface and something must give in the end. We survived Abacha; we survived PDP; APC is different, but not invincible. They will, however, not be displaced by shouting and activism but by subversion from within. The same playbook they used to kill the PDP. The only thing that keeps APC together now is money and a hint of tribalism, or regionalism; it is not ideology. Those ties aren't strong enough because they contain further divisions. Classism and intra-ethnic divisions are inevitable sources of schism, but it seems they are playing that game against the Southeast already. The North will decide Nigeria's fate and the APC's, as they likely won't be swayed by largely superficial divisions. The long game of the APC is Northern irrelevance and the leaders there see the handwriting on the wall. All of the turf wars there over solid minerals are not helping them. Feudalism is also in the end stage. Religion on the other hand is a stronger bond in the North than in the South. The Middle Belt have been used as the scapegoat by everyone and they also have a hand in APC’s potential irrelevance. I am still amazed at how people like Saraki were checkmated easily because the people had enough, but now that same region is where someone supposedly wanted by the authorities for corruption is running for the Senate. I don't want to use the “R” word but people in the Middle Belt are more likely to lead a revolution against the APC that will free Nigeria and it will likely spread from there to the North. The South-South is gone to the APC and sadly that is where most of our national wealth is originated. The risk of any political revolution is a national schism. The more I think of it, the more I realize that we are in a deep hostage situation with the APC. Slogans won't dislodge them. Biology may be our eventual intervention. All of these leaders will age and leave the earth. The next level is where the real battle will be fought. That is where I am sure Nigeria may likely break up unless things change. There is no daylight as tribalism without benefits has now be strangely entrenched by aging polititicians. I see things here daily and worry about Nigeria’s future. What we thought was a nation is now far gone. We now have cults of personality and ethnicity. I hope to be proven wrong but I don't see anyone’s hope being renewed in the next decade. Maybe ideology will eventually enter Nigerian politics but it may be too late.

Today in HIVE Consult’s Pentest and DFIR Lab, Instructor @elormkdaniel demonstrated how our forensic box can be used during a mobile device investigation. The BlockBox helps isolate a phone or laptop from cellular, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth signals while investigators handle it. This reduces the risk of incoming messages, remote commands or a remote wipe changing potential evidence. Elorm’s demonstration shows why protecting a device’s state is an essential first step in a mobile investigation. Follow our LinkedIn page: linkedin.com/company/hivesec… Thank you💚

A new Exchange in Nigeria, way advanced, offering more features ContiSX
I have been building things since my days at FUT Owerri, where we launched the university’s first campus FM radio station. In industry, I served as a global lead ASIC design engineer, helping to develop the inertial sensors used in the early versions of the iPhone. I also invented a wafer-level chip-scale packaging technology for inertial sensors. Till today, the US Government has continued to honour royalties for using my PhD research and the patent that came out of it. I am a Nigerian and I build things! Good People, when we engineered a native blockchain for Contisx Securities Exchange, we saw an opportunity to extend that operating system into a new category of secure communication. That vision led us to build the Contisx Phone, a cryptographically secured blockchain phone designed to deliver superior communication security for individuals, companies and governments. Yes, blockchain-secured with absolute sovereignty. With ContiSX Phone, you get end-to-end secure communication, across messaging, voice and video , with no eavesdropping or tampering, guaranteed by cryptographic encryption. The Contisx Phone is now available for preorder, with shipments beginning on October 1, 2026. Preorder yours here: contisx.com/phone/ Every preorder comes with these benefits: - One year of complimentary Contisx Network services, including Contisx Mail, Contisx Audio and Contisx Video. - Zero-rated data access across the Contisx Exchange and CSD ecosystems for one year. Users will incur no telecommunications data charges when accessing core Contisx services. - Free access to the Tekedia Nigeria Capital Market Masterclass. - Free access to the Tekedia Mini-MBA. From semiconductor systems to blockchain infrastructure, we continue to build the technologies of the future. Nigeria is great, not bcos of the difficulties, but bcos of the opportunities he seeing.
School of Hard Knocks interviewed Indomie’s CEO who is Indonesian. He said they also own Dano, Kellogg’s, Hypo, Lush, Guinness & Malt. Their biggest competitor is Nestlé, which owns Maggi. He came to Nigeria for a holiday, and they now generate $2B in revenue. 😳

If there's anybody that should inspire and challenge, it's @taadelodun, his story is grand.
You already know what it takes to succeed. It is in your bookmarks. Your saved videos. Your screenshots. Your notes. At this point, consuming more information is another form of procrastination. You don't need another motivational video. Leave social media for a while. Go and execute. I did the same. In 2011, I hit rock bottom. I spent five months in hospital. I lost my job. Had to leave university. So I disappeared and started again. Quietly. No audience or likes Just the work. Today, I look back with gratitude for how far I have come. So close the app. Go and build. Go and execute. And when you come back in a few months? You won't have missed much. But you will come back as the person you were trying to become.
