We are very excited to welcome all our new Year 8 pupils to our Summer School on Monday.
The Summer School is exclusively for our new Year 8 pupils, is free and fully funded by St Colm’s.
Mon July 28th -Fri Aug 1st, 10am to 2pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided each day.
Thanks to @NIFRSOFFICIAL for attending our parents day today. leaflets were handed out with regards to recent anti social behaviour towards our emergency services.

Yesterday our Year 11 and Year 13 Politics students got a great insight into the workings of the legislative assembly. Thank you @danielbakersf for hosting & @ColinSDLP , @GerryCarrollPBP and @CathyMasonSF for answering some difficult questions from our Politics students.

I did my PGCE placement @stcolmshs and it was brilliant - shaped a lot of my teaching and approaches. Having supportive staff and mentors was a huge part of it. This school really is in the centre of the community. Would love to see it get the buildings and facilities it needs 👍🏻
Education Minister @paulgivan has met with Principal, Adrian Walsh, pupils and school staff during a visit to @stcolmshs, Belfast. The Minister viewed wonderful music performances by the school choir and Year 12 band, a traditional Zimbabwe song performed by two pupils and an Irish dancing set by a Year 11 student. The Minister then held discussions with the school’s leadership team on a range of issues including the school’s existing accommodation, the school’s pivotal role as part of the Lisburn Area Learning Community and pupil attendance.
