During this heatwave we are urging people not to be having bonfires or barbecues in open spaces. We have attended a number of calls during this heatwave which we think a little common sense would go a long way. Enjoy the sunshine, but also think about the dangers.

Last year, there were more than 1,000 accidental electrical fires involving everyday household white goods like tumble dryers and washing machines across England – that’s the equivalent of three fires every single day. orlo.uk/tqKuC #EFSW25
On average three fires are linked to white goods every day.

This week we're raising awareness of the 'Fatal Five' for #RoadSafetyWeek. Did you know? You are four times more likely to crash if you use a mobile phone whilst driving.
Mobile phones. The penalty for using your phone behind the wheel are a £200 fine and 6 points on your licence. Been driving less than two years? Get caught using your mobile when driving just once and you'll have to take your theory and practical tests again.
