Zoom in demos make it much clearer and more appealing to viewers. Make your app demos straight on your phone using Screenfully!
Add a zoom segment at the playhead, set its duration, adjust the scale, and drag the focus point directly on the preview.

Exporting your mobile app demos to different sizes for different social media platforms is easier with Screenfully.

I have improved my app's editor for creating mobile app demos.
It's like Screen Studio but you skip the connection to a Mac part and do everything on your device.
1. Record your app
2. Select a template
3. Do some edits like trim, shadow, blur and more
4. Export
5. Share

AI is turning a lot of devs into solopreneurs. Due to layoffs and also the ease of shipping.

The best thing you can do is add usage analytics to your mobile or web app.
I just analyzed 1 month worth of my users' usage data from my custom made analytics tool and got this.
My screen recording app was meant to be mobile phone only initially but I made it possible to be downloaded on iPad just for statistics, now it's suggesting me to target iPad more. hmm.
Is my analytics tool correct? π€
BTW, the app already got paying users, but this could be the boost I need to break through 1k MRR?

Life is amazing. 2026 will be even more amazing.
In May, I got laid off from a job I had for a long time.
From June to the end of August, I did freelancing, accepted project-based work, hourly gigs, whatever came my way just to keep moving forward.
In September, life happened⦠and I decided to work on my own products (again) and quit whatever 9-5 there is.
In October, I released StartAppLab.
In November, I released Screenfully.
In December, I released Merge Plant.
I also have 2 more products in beta with almost 100 testers.
I am also re-releasing other products I had before with another angle to take on marketing.
Iβve already made a little over 6k, since deciding to bet on myself. Itβs less than what I used to make, but I now own my time, my direction, and the things I build.
No meetings. No permission.
Just momentum, learning, and progress.
If this is what the first few months look like, I canβt wait to see what 2026 brings.
This is also a sign for you to bet on yourself. Let's go f*cking build!

The new Apple icon composer, has anyone used it already? Using it for my game but don't know if it will look good, more like this is for apps. π
BTW, I'm making a cozy merge puzzle farming adventure game.
Releasing today but might be approved by next week. LOL.

Back to making games... Breathe of fresh air from mobile apps and web SaaS.
Did games since high school using Flash. My junior years I created mobile apps and games from 2014 to 2016, created my Twitter just to promote indie games. Last time I created one was 2022/2023 for an NFT project. #screenshotsaturday
Anyone else making a game?
