Scathing statement by @VFWHQ admonishing Trump: “These asinine comments not only diminish the significance of our nation’s highest award for valor, but also crassly characterizes the sacrifices of those who have risked their lives above and beyond the call of duty.”

This Robin Williams thread will brighten up your day 🧵
1. His improvised scene in Good Will Hunting made the cameraman laugh so hard the camera started shaking. Matt Damon's reaction is authentic.

Kamala Harris will make an outstanding President of the United States, and I enthusiastically support her candidacy.
Let’s get it done, America!
My FIL is 93, 💯 disabled veteran. He loves his 3 year old Q700M but it broke 5 weeks ago. No one could diagnose the problem, find parts or service it. We have called the company dozens of times. Now my FIL is trapped in his room and his health is declining. Who can help?

For years, I’ve been trying get answers to questions, questions about women’s health. For years I’ve heard the same thing over and over, “We don’t know.” How is it that we don’t know about half our population? Because we haven’t researched them! Women have been ignored in clinical research.
Well now, the @whitehouse is helping us get answers! I have been working with @flotus on the Women’s Health Research Initiative, and last week, $100 million in federal funding was announced or research and development into women’s health from the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. But this is also a call to all the tech companies, the innovators, the inventors, the game changers — we need you! We need your minds, your help to get these answers. We can make a difference by working together, and changing the way we think about women’s health. Who’s ready? #womenshealthresearch
