Hi! I'm a mixed-Japanese femme based in Toronto. I do cultural consultation in TTRPGs, and I'm always open to contracts for anything that draws from Japanese history/culture.

I see the JCCC news as related to the closure and call for demolition of the Ontario Science Centre earlier this summer. This is another building designed by Raymond Moriyama, and an important public institution for many in Ontario.

The new centre is part of a plan for former Ontario Place, a provincial redevelopment project that has been a mess. Last summer they removed the Japanese Canadian Centennial Temple Bell (also by Moriyama), but claim it will be returned one day.

Godzilla vs. Megalon was one of my childhood movies (a strange choice, I know). I have never seen a Godzilla movie in theatres and I am excited for all of this 🌇
