If you want to change what’s happening in DC, don’t be seduced by talk of a “blue wave.” Not a single vote has been counted. Vote, and get your friends and their friends to vote. If you don’t, the blue wave won’t even be a blue trickle.

Yes, a political statement is called for at an opera. This was premeditated. I wonder if any of these people can pinpoint where Palestine is or where they think they should be.
Shame on @CalgaryOpera. ---------- "I have been informed that I have been removed from further performances of Tosca with the Calgary Opera following my display of the Palestinian flag during curtain call. I have no regret. This is the state of cultural institutions in Canada. I was informed that financial threats had been made against Calgary Opera. I hold no resentment. After the theatre, (political or otherwise) we all have to go home, and look at ourselves in the mirror. It was my honor to play the role of Angelotti, an escaped political prisoner." Dear Trump voters, You wanted mass deportations. Well, hundreds of thousands of people have been deported. NOW WHAT? • Did you get that job they supposedly took from you? • Did grocery prices drop? • Is rent cheaper? • Did your health insurance premiums drop? • Are utility bills lower? • Can you afford to buy a home? • Are you paying less for gas? • Is your life any better? Because after all the raids, arrests, deportations, and cruelty, what did you actually get out of it? #TrumpsAbuseOfPower

Shocking information that should be newsworthy, but isn't. Maybe because in our post-national incarnation, "shocking" is a superannuated concept in this context. It implies a moral judgment of "terrorists" of a certain faith. Can't have that. So this factual information is the new normal. Don't make waves. Walk on by, eh?
1. In Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is a designated terror entity that murders women, dissidents and LGBTQ people. 2. In Canada, the Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC) openly lobbies for the IRGC. 3. In Toronto, Progress Toronto is led by the founders of the ICC. 4. In 2026, Progress Toronto are running Olivia Chow's campaign. Call me crazy, but I think this is kind of newsworthy. #topoli

This is Israel.
An extraordinary Israeli military operation from last year has now been revealed. An Israeli Navy submariner was deep into a secret operational mission, at what was described as “one of the farthest points an Israeli force had ever reached,” when the submarine commander received a devastating message: the soldier's brother had been killed fighting in Gaza. The submarine could not simply turn around. It was in the middle of an important mission far from Israel, and returning to port could have taken weeks. The commander called the soldier into his small cabin and told him his brother was gone. The two stood there crying together. His mother was then connected to him through the submarine's communication system. Then the IDF decided to do something extraordinary: “Do the impossible and bring him home.” The Navy and Air Force secretly put together a rescue operation. A ship carrying a special force was sent toward the submarine, a helicopter was prepared, and secret meeting points were set at sea. The operation was approved at the highest levels. About 24 hours later, the message finally came: “The journey home can begin.” The soldier was taken from the submarine in the middle of its mission and brought back to Israel in time to stand at his brother's funeral and say Kaddish. The submarine then continued its secret mission and returned to Israel only weeks later. When it finally entered port, the fallen soldier's family was waiting on the dock to thank the commanders who had done everything possible to bring one brother home so he could say goodbye to the other.

He is right. Islamic countries should be held accountable for their genocides and expulsion of non Muslim citizens in their respective countries. Look it up. The 2 million Israeli Arabs might disagree that Israel is the one doing a genocide or apartheid. Facts matter.
I don’t understand why the Mayor couldn’t simply give Jews *one day* to mourn the largest mass killing of Jews since the holocaust.

This is of course obvious but not the only issue. Just after 10/7, I had a great sit down (privately, and where nobody could see us talking) with a prominent Arab American leader. This leader is thoughtful, and though we very much disagree, we still find humanity in each other. The leader asked me "do I believe in the Nakba," as in, do i believe that the Nakba occured. I said of course, I agree that Palestinians were forcibly removed from what is now Israel. I asked the leader if they believed in the removal of Jews from Arab Countries between 1941-1948, many of which occured at that exact same time. The leader told me they had never heard of such a thing.
Calling Zionism racism because Palestinian refugees cannot return “because they are Palestinian” is complete history revisionism and ignores one important refugee fact of 1947-1948: About 850,000 Jews were expelled from Arab/Muslim countries in the same war. They were not offered a return either because they were told to relocate to the newly founded Jewish State. Their homes and property were also taken. Nobody calls that a racist project. Nobody marches for it. If return is the principle, apply it to both. If it only runs one way, it is not a principle.

She’s right. It’s not the actual kinetic war that’s so scary and dangerous. It’s the propoganda war that’s happening in every facet of society. I know every word she’s saying is 100% accurate because I have spent 2 years watching this phenomenon online. I don’t wonder how the Holocaust could have happened. I just wonder if there are enough courageous people to stand up to the evil this time around.

What is the Hebrew equivalent of "Let's roll"? The heroes of flight 93 would have been proud.
Replying to @SimonDingleyTV
The details emerging, if accurate, are fit for a Hollywood movie! • Omani first officer stabs Emirati captain • Captain's screams are heard in the cabin • Flight attendants call for help • Israeli civilian passengers break into the flight deck and subdue the first officer • two civilian-clothed pilots (Aussie and South African)who were traveling as passengers on a "routine" assignment take command of the aircraft • Israeli dentist treats the wounded • much of this happened as the aircraft plunged at high speed towards the ground • replacement pilots land safely in Saudi Arabia (a country with no diplomatic ties to Israel)

This video of the flight from Dubai plunging as the co-pilot appears to have tried to crash it is chilling. There were 174 passengers headed to Tel Aviv including 27 children. You can hear the kids scream. Thank goodness for the heroes on board.

This is one of the best rants I have ever heard on TV and it is too bad no on-air journalist in Canada would ever even try something like this with a governing politician. Pity.
OMG 🚨 UK TV Host GOES OFF on UK Defense Secretary for refusing to connect illegal mass migration with security risks in the UK. This might one of the best on air TV rants you will ever see. After 5 Muslims tried blowing up RAF Air Force base in London. The people in Europe are FED UP with immigration and their failed government that protects illegals over its citizens.

A new character has entered the Gaza narrative and her name is SCRUTINY. With the exposure of frauds who were elevated as activists and Gazan “journalists”, the backing away by foreign governments in the ICJ case and the emerging lawsuit against the New York Times, people are now slowly beginning to ask: was I ever allowed to question the narrative I’m being fed.

Brad says it best! Toronto needs change..vote Brad Bradford!
Toronto is stuck. Taxes are up. Transit is still late. Young people are leaving. Food bank use is soaring. Toronto hasn’t come close to its potential. I’ll freeze taxes in year one, demand value for every dollar, guarantee on-time transit or refund your fare, and work to make our city safer. If you want to change the city, you have to vote to change the mayor on October 26th.
