New feature alert 🚨
Jack will no longer bug you while you're relaxing on vacation!
Simply set your status to contain OOO, PTO, etc.

I just finished upgrading to the new permissions model: medium.com/slack-developer-b…. This is a win for privacy!

Hey @ConvertKit, I just saw you experimenting with Jack! Let me know if you have any questions. Big fan of your service.
You can now say "skip" to skip a question during standup. These skipped questions won't be included in the standup report.
Shoutout to one of my customers for suggesting a simple but useful feature!
Standup Jack is unresponsive right now due to some issues with the @SlackAPI: status.slack.com/

Update: Jack seems to be working again, though status.slack.com/ still says the Slack is degraded. I'll let you know when everything's back to normal.
Status Update: It looks like AWS Lambda is back online and so Jack is now responsive.
Jack seems to be operating normally, but I'll be monitoring the service closely over the next hour to make sure.
Incident Status: Jack is currently non-responsive.
It's related to an upstream issue with AWS Lambda timeouts. I've reached out to AWS for more information.
Sorry for the radio silence this morning! I was missing some configuration from a recent security upgrade.

It's funny how if this was a dashboard, it'd take 5 min to add this feature. Conversation-based features are more complicated. In hindsight, I probably should have just made a dashboard 😅
