Back then you had guys writing insane theses, putting their money where their mouth was, and riding their bags through hell because they actually believed in something. The stronger the shill, the stronger the flex.
Now look at the fucking state of crypto.
Pump.fun and FomoApp KOLs flexing PNL screenshots, rented lifestyles, referral links, and pretending they're some kind of celebrities.
Half these guys act like they got bullied their entire lives and finally discovered a place where they can buy the attention they never got in high school.
It's not even about crypto anymore. It's a bunch of grown men competing in a popularity contest, desperate for strangers on the internet to tell them how successful and important they are.
Nobody has conviction. Nobody stands for shit. Everyone wants to be a KOL, everyone wants to be paid to shill, and everyone wants to dump on the same people who made them relevant.
We went from a bunch of degenerate chads trying to change the financial system to a bunch of insecure attention whores fighting over who gets the most engagement on a fucking app.

It’s always been weird to me how ppl viewed CT as merely a game. Part of the reason I try to not rape things or make shit calls is bc this is real money and taking it from others, underhandedly, makes you a target. If I had my last dollars stolen from me by a fat faggot who is only a $700 flight away, I’m probably going to try to get it back one way or another.
You are not a “trader” if you’re deploying/bundling/raping, you are a digital thief and a digital fraudster.

- make a deal with every KOL you could imagine (means no pvp)
- employ mods for every time zone
- lock their team allocation on livestream
- prepare a roadmap, website, showcase, advertisement (even if they were bullshit, yeah)

Onchain is for the most part untradable right now
The number of sheep drones following public trading accounts who are blatantly and knowingly vamping other coins is disgusting
Not to mention the amount of tek larp vapor and launchpads running up once and no relief bounce ever straight to 0
If you aren’t in the one or two coins that is winning for ~72 hours your position is slaughtered. If you are in a winning coin then you have about 3 days before the same idea launches with an even more cracked dev which will pump once and then never again
Not to mention little appetite for anything a week old and 0 appetite for several month old cult die hard community memes
Feels like we need a flush
Or we just need better coins to win, and better people to pioneer the next leg
