I am no longer tweeting many pictures of my bikes, 3D printed pangolins and #systematicreview shenanigans on here. I have escaped to bsky.app/profile/stackingboo…

I found a use for all the #3dprint filament roll ends @lammspace . Creating UV llamas for @LightUpLanc explore week. Genuinely concerned though that children will be disappointed when they take them home, and they don't glow anymore! #maker – at Lancaster, England

#ai has been popping up everywhere this year, but what I didn't expect was the AI generated mood images in a cafe on campus @LancasterUni. Not sure if the background music was as well, but it certainly sounded like it... #chatgpt #MidjourneyAI #midjourney

1: The screen is backlit and high definition. Easy to read in the dark.
2: It is fast, no old kindle flash on page turns.
3. It is cheap. About half the price of other devices. It isn't colour, which helps.
4. It is small, bigger than a phone, smaller than a tablet.
5. And most importantly, it doesn't push you to buy books from the store, or show ads all the time. You can borrow available titles from the inbuilt store, or directly the Overdrive browser.
A hearty recommendation from this #librarian

Once I had a thing for making 3G antennas out of household items like woks or barbeque grills. It was for my own random amusement and I stopped paying for the website years ago. I was delighted to see that someone mirrored my old Woktenna build instructions! Thanks random #maker!
Waiting on a Student Appointment, so time to give credit to the awesome #videoconferencing setup @LancasterUniLib uses for faculty #librarian and learning developer appointments. Although perhaps a little too high quality sometimes, it's been a long week! #futurelibraries

It probably won't win any architectural awards, but I am quite pleased with my Bamboo shedlike building in my #allotment. And it didn't blow away in the recent windy weather. #shedadjacent #moreofahutreally
