"The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time."

Djarwo Edhie is an Indonesian visual artist specialising in collage and drawing. He began his professional artistic career in 2009 and over the years, his practice has evolved into a deep exploration of the human experience in contemporary urban settings.
Djarwo employs the human form as a central symbolic language to convey the intensity, movement, and psychological pressures of modern city life. His work captures the dynamic energy, tension, and collective rhythm of metropolitan environments, reflecting the complexities faced by individuals navigating the fast-paced urban society.

If you work hard and contribute to your community, you should be able to buy a home, raise a family, go to work close to where you live, see a doctor, and retire with dignity.
California is too expensive for that right now. I'm running for governor to change that.
Last night, I held a town hall in Oakland to discuss my plan for shared prosperity in the state we all love.
To really drive down costs, we need a governor unafraid to make corporations and billionaire CEOs pay their fair share. We need a governor who puts families ahead of special interests.
I've taken on oil companies, closed corporate tax loopholes, and pushed billions back into schools and clean energy. I'll do it again as governor.
Our state's affordability crisis won’t be solved by the same politicians who got us here. We must change how things work in Sacramento, because their approach has failed.
That's why I'm running, and that's why I need you with me.
