Book 1: “Sure to appeal to fans of Douglas Adams, this zany, uproarious mystery is a constant delight.” —Publishers Weekly (starred)
Book 2: “Consistently dances on the edge of absurdity; it’s a great and witty time.” —Vulture, Best Comedy Books of 2022

Big sale: the paperback of my 2022 novel The Great American Betrayal is currently 53% off at Amazon. I have no idea how long that will last.

The season two finale of Reacher was so unrealistic. Neagley orders a milkshake and it shows up like five seconds later. (Everything else was believable.)
This is nice and all, but a day or two later @rejectedjokes met with an even cooler group of people (my Drexel students).

A lot of people are talking about the movie Poor Things but not enough people are talking about the novel's maddening formatting and use of italics.
Professor X gives the worst Christmas presents, but he says it's the thought that counts. And it's not like he knew what you really wanted.

It's unfair that when I die they'll call me "the late Scott Stein" since while alive I was always on time.
Every novel is different. The inciting incident in the one I'm writing now takes up the first 45 pages.
I'm finally watching The Last of Us and have a question about how things work there. If you go to a restaurant and order mushroom soup, do they shoot you?

There are so many kids with higher scores than this who get rejected. 1460 isn't as high as this guy thinks it is. There aren't enough spots for everyone. My nephew just got his acceptance to this school. 1590 SAT, every AP course, leads the robotics club. Not a legacy.
