I would be very interested in trying this out.. most gifted marketing teams I have met find a lot of these tools slowing them down (ie they lack taste) and cancel subscriptions quickly. Maybe @ajeets and team are diff. 🤷‍♂️ @BoundlessHQ builds most of its tech (marketing or otherwise) in-house.. yet to see external teams match them.
1/ Today we're launching @different_ai , my third company, with $48M in seed funding led by @htaneja at @generalcatalyst, with participation from @ravi_lsvp at @lightspeedvp. Different is an AI marketing system that runs demand generation end-to-end for lean B2B marketing teams.

About DeepInfer, I draw a image to compare it with vLLM and SGLang. Data comes from SemiAnalysis's InferenceMAX

Open weight models are a genius GTM strategy. If you're the third, fourth, or fifth lab chasing OpenAI and Anthropic, giving away the weights builds trust. Open weight models are cheaper, transparent, and easy to run on your own systems. You don't have to trust the lab at all. Commercialization comes from the services that sit on top: consulting, training, and customizing the models. After all, who understands DeepSeek better than the DeepSeek team? Shiv Shankar (@sshankar) on @TheDryRunPod
What is an open weight model? Shiv Shanker (@sshankar), founder and CEO of Boundless, joins the Dry Run to explain what an open weight model is, and why he thinks most companies will try closed models first but eventually shift to open ones. 00:40 Understanding open weight models 01:57 What labs actually share when they publish weights 06:33 Cost considerations in AI adoption 08:47 Security and data privacy 13:08 You can't vibe code DocuSign 15:48 The MySQL playbook for open source profits 20:33 Why the top open weight models come from China 24:09 What changes after OpenAI and Anthropic go public 25:32 The case against open weight models 30:04 Don't give an agent your passwords 31:50 Regulatory frameworks for open weight models 36:23 Education and workforce development for AI 38:41 The sign that open weight models are winning

Most wholesome “yo momma x AI” joke wins free Boundless credits and an early invite to the next big product we are building right now. 😆 And we will make sure to send your mom flowers on Mother’s Day on your behalf! 🫶 @Yuchenj_UW already made a start! Happy Friday.
I think that’s a “yo momma” joke wrapped in a flex by @Yuchenj_UW 😆

The team keeps cooking.. day and night. Get a taste of highly available, extremely capable, ridiculously priced OS models on @BoundlessHQ Next week is going to be another 10x!!
Boundless is now available in @OpenCode. Access leading open models with fast, reliable, low-cost inference, right in your coding workflow. Connect your Boundless API key, pick a model, and start building.

I think people knew that it was a stunt. It’s what gets the algorithm going.. I think @elonmusk knows how to play X like a pro. To titillate our imagination with possibilities and flex their skills is on brand for Tesla/spaceX Saab would advertise that they build cars and fighter jets (which led to BMW coining “the ultimate driving machine” - to say we focus on cars only) as a flex on their engineering DNA. Elon builds cars and rockets..let the man cook! (And please oh god.. please, let it actually ship in 2028)
I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it. Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled. In short, it's a gimmick.
