You gotta love it when them liberal pussies respond to apostle and the only thing they cry about is grammer.. and then block before you even see it...
Your, you're, you are a pussy..
You gotta love it when a crying liberal wants to argue, then blocks you so you cant respond. You Fucking Pussy...
In the 1980's, the United States was known as the world's Melting Pot... thanks to the Democrats, their policies and their liberally lost voters, we are now
Known as the world's Pissing Pot...
We always hear about combat MOS's. The infantry, the cav, spec ops... thats great, but, as a Commo Guy, I want to hear from my fellow Combat Support personnel.
I spent more then 12 years in Combat Arms, Infantry and RSTA Cav Squadron. Where are the personnel specialists, logistics guys, maintenance privates, where are the cooks?
You know, us slugs that keep that battalion moving, talking, working...
The 18th Airborne Corp didnt give a fuck what your MOS was. You are either Airborne or Air Assualt or both. Your still doing the ruck marches. Your still doing forced 25+ mile march. Your still digging foxholes, fighting positions. I was personally carried the M249 for 2 years. Was qualified on the M50, the old 60, and the M19 (my personnel favorite and in the 9th Inf Div, my vehicular mounted weapon)
So, here's a Shout out to all MY FELLOW COMBAT ARMS SUPPORT PERSONNEL.
They can talk about us, but they cant talk, move or eat without us...!

The Old Reliables fought across Europe and the Mekong, then vanished in a budget cut at Fort Lewis.
The 9th Infantry Division earned its name in World War II and later fought in the Mekong Delta. It came back to Fort Lewis in 1972. In the 1980s the Army turned it into a motorized test bed and issued some of the first Humvees to the division.
Washington announced the inactivation in 1990 as part of the post-Cold War drawdown. Colors cased in December 1991. A leftover brigade lingered briefly as the 199th. Fort Lewis kept growing. The division did not.
Should a division with that combat record have been the one they cut first?

The Bronze Star came out of World War II.
President Roosevelt authorized it in February 1944. Ground troops were taking the same risks as aircrews, but the Air Medal was already on the books and there was no equivalent for soldiers fighting on the ground. The Bronze Star filled that gap.
It is awarded for heroic or meritorious achievement in a combat zone. That wording is stamped on the back of the medal. Add a “V” device and it means valor, not just solid work under fire.
It is not as famous as the Silver Star or the Purple Heart, but a lot of men earned it the hard way and never talked about it.
