The creation of this naughty and nice list confirms that Canadian media are now permanent wards of the state and the battle for a truly free press is over. blacklocks.ca/says-media-lis…

When hatred of Donald Trump becomes the measure of Canadian patriotism, we’ve lost the plot.🇨🇦
Dislike the man all you want. But judge every policy by what it does for Canada.
Our country’s future deserves more than a permanent reaction to one American politician.
Pretty sure “phobia” means irrational fear.
There is nothing irrational about fearing what caused the horrific attacks on 9/11.
You’re a fucking disgrace, and I can’t wait to vote for a party that will cut the funding to this horseshit.
25 years since 9/11, Canada is not further ahead on tackling Islamophobia: advocates ctvnews.ca/canada/article/25…
A decade in Sweden converted me from a Marxist to a small government conservative. It’s been a wild ride.

It would seem like a great get for a reporter:
"Excuse me Mr. Prime Minister, but are you worried that Canadians might find it hypocritical that you are advising them to vacation here when you have only now come back from a vacation in Italy?"
Replying to @Smileyyeg
And why did not a single reporter ask that very question about what Holly just point out?
I'm having a hard time with our media like a lot of people when they don't point out the hypocrisy of govt 100% pulling a do as I say not as I do.

A lot of middle class Canadians are anti-American, and always have been—LONG before Trump. The danger has always been that someday we'd get a leader who'd indulge that side of Canada and plunge us into a reckless, prideful conflict with the US that we fundamentally can't win.
I can’t believe I have to say this in 2026: memes are not attacks. They’re humour.
This must have come from the “words are violence” camp.

The socialist idea that anyone with more than them is destroying the planet simply by having more, and that wanting to be left free to live and produce is selfish, is like cancer complaining that the healthy cells aren’t sacrificing enough to feed the tumor.

A major problem with Canadians is that they are offended by Trump's personality and brashness, and much prefer the phoniness, lies, and empty words of politicians like Trudeau and Carney.
Trudeau and Carney have destroyed Canada, and will see its dissolution, yet to Canadians, Trump is worse because they see him as rude and mean.
People who prefer pleasant/polire lies over unpleasant truths are dangerous. Indeed, this is why I've managed to anger so many Canadians over the years. I tell the truth, and they don't want to hear it, so scream at and attempt to silence the messenger.
Is this a problem that is resolvable? How do we convince people to value truth and authenticity, even when it makes them uncomfortable?

Turns out being inclusive of morons produces lower quality academic work.

Mark Carney literally became the meme by demanding that people stop making memes of him

Mark Carney has now also done the no-no square dance in protest of American memes.
