@WordCampSofia was an absolute blast 💥
420+ attendees, 2 parallel tracks, 16 lectors, 1 panel discussion and 1 workshop!
All that at the iconic National Palace of Culture!
Big up to all of you attending, to our volunteers, lectors, sponsors and organisers! #WCSOF
See you in a week at @WordCampSofia
Last year at WordCamp Sofia, we had some confusion about the entrance and the hall. The entrance will be from the back of NDK, not the front. Details here:

First default @WooCommerce theme since 2016! It's a time to retire the old Storefront now!
We have a new default theme for @WooCommerce available now, called Purple. It's early days, but is already a great starting point for block-based, commerce-centric @WordPress sites. Help us improve it!

There will be elections in Bulgaria then, I choose WordPress! 🖖

Is that the biggest thing in WordPress since the block editor itself 🤷♂️
WordPress 7.1 will bring responsive block styles to Core on August 19. You can define tablet and mobile styles in Global Styles or theme.json, and themes can configure their own breakpoints. RC2 is available now, so there is still time to test your plugins and themes. developer.wordpress.org/news…

I'm working on creative content and assets for Roots and Fruit. I've always been a big believer in Design Systems to help create things quickly without having to make too many decisions slowing you down.
AI is a huge step forward in this direction particularly for non-designers like myself.
I did a focused sprint this week and developed my new brand standards: brand.rootsandfruit.com/
And you can see the first asset I applied it to, a reveal.js slide deck template: roots-and-fruit.github.io/sl…
Highly recommended for all brands

Are you still using that old childish email you’ve been stuck with it for nearly two decades? Time to change it without losing your account data!
Google is rolling out a new feature to change your gmail .com username without losing your account.
>Check Google Account > Personal info > Email. If available, pick a new username.
>Old address becomes an alias: emails deliver to the same inbox, and you can sign in with either across Google services.
>All data (emails, files, photos) stays intact.
>Limits: 3 changes per lifetime, 12 months between each. Rollout is gradual—may not show yet.
Reclaim your disk space back!
I came across this very cool tool to clean up your macOS environment: github.com/tw93/Mole
It consolidates features from CleanMyMac, AppCleaner, DaisyDisk, and iStat. Open source and gratis!

Really cool website I discovered today called flightqueue.com which lets you check the live arrival queue time for any airport in the world
Very useful with European (and some American) airports now just becoming by default very slow when you arrive to get through immigration
If anyone knows the founder, I'd love to add this data to 🎒 Nomads.com and let it affect the ranking because arriving in a place fast and smoothly is a big part of what makes it attractive to travel to (for me)
Usually I’m listening to such kind of content on x1.5 speed, but not when @karpathy is speaking!
