We’re stepping up our contributions to @dotnet - helping advance the ecosystem as a whole.
We're announcing the 1st step today, alongside .NET 10 RC2 - collaboration with the .NET MAUI team to keep .NET for Android in sync with Google’s Android 16 (API-36.1).
The next steps are underway: co-maintaining @SkiaSharp, enabling WASM multithreading, collaborating in .NET for Android/iOS repos and more.
We ❤️.NET and couldn't be here without it.

"Break the API, the users have no choice but to follow us" turned out to be a terrible strategy, as I argued repeatedly.
"If you give users a choice, they might not choose us, and they might look at greener pastures" I said.
They told me "We are the platform experts, shoo shoo"
Hooray, @Bitwarden is switching from Xamarin to native on Android/iOS! This will mean better performance, faster development, more native UI.
Excited about this transition, as long as they take the time to build feature parity and have a stable rollout.
