March of the mushrooms! 🍄
Had a blast at the #TellurideMushroomFestival parade marching alongside my fellow mycomaniacs. (Had to take a bite of the Perigord Truffle or ‘Tuber melanosporum’)

New spores sprouting 🌱
We’ve launched a new Reddit hub for community discussion and have also regained control of our original Facebook page and group.
We’ll use these channels to stay connected, archive history, and build forward together.

Spore spreads.
Neural anarchy reset: new pathways emerge. Make new connections. Let silent regions speak. Awaken the mind.
What Are Symbolic Commons? 🧵1/5
In anarchist communities, platforms, names, and narratives are symbolic commons—held in trust, not owned. But that trust must be protected.

How to Defend the Commons 🧵4/5
To protect symbolic commons, communities can:
• Share access
• Rotate roles
• Document decisions
• Create respectful conduct norms
🔧 These aren’t rules—they’re tools for trust.
Want to go deeper? 🧵5/5
How can anarchist communities stay open without losing integrity?
How do we defend the commons without recreating hierarchy?

A note is coming on our return to an anarchic organisation— where nothing is owned, but everything is meant to be held in common.
However, the absence of ownership doesn’t mean it’s free for grabs or that it won’t be protected.
What’s shared must also be safeguarded.
The SPORE contract and symbol went live on-chain on 17 Mar 2021. Within 48h, multiple contributors shipped the first site — 100% open-source from day zero.
Everyone who contributes does so freely, knowing they are building toward a decentralized, open-source protocol.
Spore channels remain dedicated to the protocol —never a funnel for side-tokens or personal promos. Code and culture stay open-source.
